Attitudes and advertising have changed over the years but the fragrance of this aftershave has been pretty consistent and that means consistently good for the price.I have used Denim on and off since the late 1980s and have found it to be a fresh, woody, spicy and aromatic aftershave. There is certainly nostalgia there but the fragrance is great whether or not you have a long history with it.Slapping it on your neck after shaving has a great cooling effect and immediately gives you that wonderful scent. Using this never fails to make me smile… it’s great to smell it on yourself whether other people like it or not!The only downside for me is that the fragrance fades to nothing over a relatively short period of time, probably an hour or so. Other aftershaves usually have less longevity than comparable colognes and eau de toilettes but Denim seems less successful than most at hanging on.But I enjoy the smell so much that I can forgive Denim aftershave for not sticking around for long.Matching eau de toilette, shower gel and body spray are available.
