- This is NOT a "wireless" (Wi-Fi) camera, it must be connected to an existing wired ethernet network. Aluminum body of the camera suggests that it will be quite durable, even if mounted outdoors (it's IP66 rated) and the "screwless" case is completely tamper-proof. The 4" base is smaller than any other PTZ IP camera in the market, which will give you more options for mounting on a wall or ceiling. The included mounting bracket will work for most mountings.
- PAN, TILT and ZOOM (3x) functions. Auto Pan function, which lets you cover a wide area with constant movement (you can also create "paths" if you have specific areas you want to cover). The infrared works well and automatically at dark. The picture is excellent 1080P, which is better than others advertising higher resolutions, but pictures are only marginally better and consume more bandwidth.
- Support RTSP, multi-language. Remote watching by PC and smartphone (IE: Windows 7/8/10, Blackberry, Symbian, iOs, Android and Windows Mobile). Compatible with 3rd party software : iSpy, Milestone, Digi Fort and Blue Iris to watch video. Support ONVIF protocol gb/t28281, work with Hikvision, XM. Built-in surge and lightning protection devices.
- The included ONVIF protocol makes this camera compatible with ONVIF NVR's... a big plus for larger installations. Keep in mind that, if you want to record video, it has to be done with an NVR (not included) or a PC/Smartphone Application (included). And you can't install a memory card into this camera. Email Alerts/Snapshots as well as mobile and web apps (Safari, Firefox, IE Supported).
