PUSHMed Wrist Brace Right size 2

I have tried several different wrist braces to wear at night for carpal tunnel syndrome and this is by far the best one. It is very well made with all the edges neatly finished off (no unravelling like the cheap NHS version I was given). The inside of the brace is lined with soft fabric which doesn't chafe or rub and the whole thing is machine washable. The soft grey colour is (in my opinion) preferrable to the beige or black offered by the majority of other wrist braces and the two elastic straps (inner and outer ones) allow you to get just the right level of tightness or compression.This brace has two splints which are positioned above and below the hand. In most braces the splints can be removed and re-shaped, but in this brace they are fixed in place and I believe they are made of a strong moulded plastic rather than metal. This was fine for me as the shape of the palmar splint fitted my hand well, but could be a problem for some people.Wearing this splint at night has given me considerable relief from my night-time CTS symptoms.The only reason for not giving this splint five stars is that it is very expensive - maybe prohibitively so for those needing to buy a matching pair.
