apparently 50 ml is more like a scant tablespoon, not 3 tablespoons
It's as thick as sludge. It has a gingery taste although the ginger isn't all that potent. I've used it in smoothies and in making low-carb cookies. I have to use a great deal to get any sort of gingery taste.What I'm most concerned about, though, is the amount I got. I was under the impression that 50 ml was about 3 tablespoons, but this tiny vial MIGHT have a tablespoon of weakly gingery sludge in it.I want to reiterate how weak the gingery taste is. You will have to use most of the bottle in a cup of tea to taste anything at all remotely gingery.

Tasted like perfume
Product is very thick and very dark. Didn't mix well into cold liquid and once I finally got it mixed it didn't taste very pleasant. I eat raw ginger often and this was nothing like that. Also left a perfume like after taste in my mouth.

Thick as Glue, not thin like extract is supposed to be.
Very strong. But advertised as extract, I was hoping n expecting a thin liquid extract. Like all the vegetable n fruit extracts in the supermarket. It is the texture of gorilla glue coming out of the tube.

Messy, poor flavor, unclear major ingredient
As others have pointed out, this extract doesn't perform. One can barely taste the ginger, there's a mystery "Emulsifier" as the lead ingredient, and it's a soupy, unworkable goo. Tried to work with it twice. It's in a landfill now.

Extremely strong!
EXTREMELY STRONG... I can't seem to dilute this far enough... just yet. I love ginger and also purchased other Holy Lama products and they are all strong but this one is extremely so.

So strong and smells amazing
I ordered this to add to my tonic water as I love ginger ! It is truly amazing. It smells divine and tastes like fresh ginger too. 100% recommend

Fantastic.
Just a couple of drops in some lemonade & it makes a wonderful 'ginger beer' type taste. I've tried all kinds for this, including the (very good) Home Choice Jamaican, but this is the best so far.

Only 1 year on the use by date, means it’s been stored for 2years!
Only 1 year left on the use by date, manufactured two years ago!!! It is nice though, I have 3 drops for ginger tea

Mostly sticks to the bottle
Too much sticks to the inside of the bottle as it’s too narrow and the substance is too thick. Needs reformulating/diluting or bottle redesigning. Quite nice punchy flavour though..
