A very capable and comfortable chair offering great value for money
For the price I'm really happy with this chair, I think it is a good compromise of price, comfort, features, and adjustability. The assembly too and extra pair of hands at one point but probably could have been done single handed, it was just a bit awkward. I'm pretty sure if you did it all the time you could throw them together in a half hour but it took me an hour. I had a small problem connecting one of the legs to the base "star" as the hole was just a little out of alignment. With some manual twisting as I inserted the bolt everything was good.It took me a little while to figure out all the ways to adjust it and get comfy in a work position, and a more relaxed sitting back watching a YouTube kind of position.Pros:1. I like the mesh seat - I have hip pain on one side and a pretty bony behind and it is comfortable for long periods2. The lumbar support feels good and adjustable enough for me3. I'm not really using the head rest when I'm working but if I lay back and take a nap it's there for me4. I dig the foot rest which is really a calf rest, it can really help take some pressure off your legs as an alternative to sitting with your feet on the ground5. Reclining with my feet right out on the rest is very nice and fully back using the head rest I could definitely take a nap or even back sleep for an extended period.6. It rolls well, doesn't squeak or creak, and generally feels and looks robust.Cons:1. I wish the foot rest extension could be locked - it can sometimes end up retracting slowly with leg pressure, especially in the lower position2. I wish the arm rests would lower another inch so I can get them under my desk so I can sit really close although this very much depends on your desk and your height. To be honest I don't really need to do that often. However the forward/back, and in/out (via swivel) works well for me and the tops are lightly padded which is enough for me.3. It would be awesome if the seat pitch was adjustable but that's an advanced feature I think you mostly find on $500 chairs4. Adjusting the back recline is a bit tricky - you will need to use the knob underneath to decrease the effort to do that.5. There are only two recline lock positions (other than upright) - it would be nice if it could be locked in any angleAnd that's about it. After a week of use I feel it has been a great improvement after 3 weeks of sitting on a piano bench, and then another month of sitting on an exercise ball. I will update this review if I have any further findings.

Awesome Chair Comparable to Those Higher Priced Brands
I have significant neck and lower back issues related to degenerating discs. I recently took a new job which landed me back in an office away from my expensive, high-end office chair at home. When my new company offered to purchase a more ergonomic and comfortable chair for my office, my budget was not expansive enough for the name brand I have at home. My search landed on this Gabrylly economic office chair as a fair compromise. It turns out this chair has been FAR more than a compromise. My Gabrylly chair is not missing any of the comfort and back support I have in my chair at home. While there are fewer adjustment options on the Gabrylly, it has what I consider to be a core set of adjustment options: height, recline tension, recline lock, arm rest height, arm rest extension, and arm rest angle. The head rest is also adjustable in height and angle. The foot rest is a nice added feature. Initially, I didn't think I'd need it, but it actually is saving my under-desk garbage can from being deformed and my Ethernet connection from getting knocked out whenever I want to stretch my legs during a marathon Zoom or Teams call.It assembled fairly easily - they even tell you how to use the shipping box to help during assembly. I was able to do it in my office with the included t-handle hex tool. I did run into a slight issue with the gas rod. I reached out to Gabrylly support by email and received a quick and courteous response from Cayla. A new part was shipped immediately and arrived in two business days. I was incredibly impressed with Cayla's friendly response and follow-up throughout the process. It's good to know that, while I hope to never need support again, I'll be able to count on them if I do.I'm pretty happy with the build quality. It's too soon to comment on longevity, but I feel confident this chair will last. It's comparable to my chair at home, and at >$500 less expensive, I'm extremely impressed with the comfort and quality. I did purchase an aftermarket set of rubber rollerblade style chair casters, but I have those on my chair at home as well. (I've yet to find a set of stock casters that compare.) That being said, the chair is comparable to the higher end office chairs out there. In conclusion, I highly recommend this chair. It looks sharp, goes together easily, has great build quality, and most importantly, has the functions I need to help with my lower back and neck pain. Thank you, Gabrylly for an affordable, awesome chair!

It’s really a 4.5 star however ..
Great chair and easy to assemble with clear instructions. I haven’t sat on it for hours on end but based on other reviews it shouldn’t hurt to sit for long periods of time. The lumbar support, head rest, and footrest is what I mainly bought this for along with mesh seating. The lumbar support only extends forward and backward to a certain point and it’s great but for some people, additional support would be needed like myself so I asked for the lumbar pillow additional support and they are sending it for free of charge. The head rest is amazing and you can adjust it to however you please. The foot rest could be better in my opinion. It should have an additional bar in the center under the mesh so that it could feel more secure but other than that it’s great. I could lean the chair back and lock it in place if I want to and though it might feel stuck when I try to get it back up right I just need to put some pressure as if I’m still trying to lean back and then it’ll get back into position. I just don’t like that I can’t lean while leaving my feet on the footrest as I can do it with a very similar chair that my sister has and that’s why the process is a little tedious if I want to lean and rest my legs - I first need to lean back and lock the chair in that position then go and open out the footrest. It’s just tedious and tedious to ask for extra lumbar support. Customer service was great and representatives were very responsive and helpful whenever I had a question. Overall a great chair.
