The faux skin practice block is an excellent method of practicing stitch work. Each piece of equipment is a nice quality and it definitely helps to enhance my stitching skill. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price *by P***O on August 4, 2024* Obviously for the price you are not getting hospital grade instruments. But if you are just looking to practice and create muscle memory to be comfortable with stitching, this will do. The needle holders clamp tightly on the needle, the forceps bite enough to hold the "tissue", and the scissors cut the suture without issue. So far I have not had any issue with the artificial skin tearing. Supposedly there is a mesh in the superficial layer to help prevent tearing, but time will tell with repeated use. The silicone does stick to the table well. However, that same stickiness attracts hair and lint. Good thing that it cleans up easily. I have seen other kits that have educational information showing different stitches and uses for each stitch, but this kit does not have any educational material included. I'll assume a health care professional will be getting hands on training elsewhere. It's probably a good thing it doesn't come with lidocaine or else people would watch a suturing segment on YouTube and think they could do stitches on their family at home! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great kit! *by M***G on September 5, 2024* This is such a nice kit for suture practice!
