I wanted to be able to set my computer up and work on my couch from time to time now that I work from home. I didn't want a huge piece of furniture because this is going to be for only a few hours at a time since I usually sit in my home office. This was really cool because the design is so customizable for different positions or using in bed, vs the couch. the problem I ran into is that my work computer is a surface pro, not a laptop. This means that it needs a flat base to sit on in order to sit up properly, but that is something I should have considered before ordering so I don't knock the desk for that.The biggest drawback I'd say to this desk is that it is fairly light weight. That's a pro for portability, but feels a bit flimsy when you're working on it. Overall for the price I think its a really great option, but just know that it's not a substantial work surface if that's what you're hoping for.

Easy assembly, easy to maneuver, great for sitting on the couch and reading

I'd give this 5 stars, but missing the screw to connect the mouse pad andtthe anti-skip buckle. Not so much concerned with the 2nd missing part, but the screw nut to connect (and be able to reposition) the mouse pad is a serious drawback. Without that, I cannot use this in the way I need to. My husband can probably find something to help me, but I'm disappointed I can't use this as intended right away. Other than that, the area for the laptop is a great size, the arms are easy to angle in so many ways and positions. So it will be perfect once I have the mouse pad attached.

I've decided to try this before buying a $500 sit to stand desk, and now I think I do not need a new desk, because this little contraption works perfectly well!

The only criticism I have is there should have been holes drilled to place the mouse pad higher or lower and also on the other side to accomodate left handers (like me).

You have to lay on it's side to adjust, and each sides angles need to match exactly. Also have to figure out which angle needs to be adjusted in order to get the result you want. It feels like a math equation. I wanted something I could adjust with my laptop still on the stand, and the stand still on my table. It's a pain in the butt, not to mention you can only use it on a table. It will tip over in bed or on the couch, it's very lightweight. I have to keep this in the standing position and keep it in a corner, I bring it out whenever I want to stand. Kind of hate this thing but am making it work for what it's worth
