When you plug it in all the sockets work its truly amazing, cut a hole in your desktop and it fits, unless you cut it too big then it will fall through. It is white if you bought white and like white then this is for you. FYI there are no switches to individually turn off each socket.

So far so good.Hole cut into kitchen worktop to extend electric coverage in new kitchen with measurements provided in the pictures - perfect fit.All sockets and ports work.In response to another review, I can only hear a hum if my ear is up to it and in total silence - you will not hear this.Looks very sleek - matte finish and pretty flush. No branding or unsightly coloured bits. Blends in seamlessly as it should.As with all new sockets, plugs a little stiff at the beginning.

Well made and a great price

Unfortunately the usb slots didn't work on either if these devices. As we have fitted them into our bedside cabinets it's a mission to take them out and replace them so we only have 3 sockets that work. This is not an anomaly as we ordered 2 separate sockets and neither of the USB slots work.

I bought this recessed power socket to add a clean, hidden plug system to a central coffee table. The idea was simple, make it easy to plug in laptops and chargers directly on the table without trailing cables everywhere.What worked:The design is genuinely stylish and looks very tidy once installed. Being recessed into the furniture keeps everything neat and uncluttered. Having multiple power outlets along with USB A and USB C ports makes it very practical for modern devices, especially for charging laptops, phones, and tablets in one place. The cable length is also generous enough for flexible placement.What didn’t:The main downside is how stiff the power sockets are. Plugging anything into them takes far more force than it should. It feels awkward and a bit worrying having to push so hard, especially when it is mounted into furniture. It works, but it is definitely not a smooth or easy action.Would I recommend it:Yes, with a small warning. It looks great and is very useful once installed, but be prepared for a tight fit when inserting plugs. If ease of use is a top priority, this could be annoying over time.Final note:It’s a sleek-hidden power solution, but every time I plug something in it feels like the socket is testing how badly I really want electricity.

We cut a piece of wood and put this in it behind the couch. Super useful and doesnt get hot even when using multiple sockets. USB C ports arent powerful enough to charge a laptop but are sufficient enough for everyday use such as charging a phone for example.

Item feels quality, the lead is a decent length, can’t fault the product.

I really like the product, but it has a constant low humming noise. As it is fitted into a shelf over the headboard of a bed, it is too annoying to put up with. There is no on off switch to try and get around this.I am returning it, but will try and get another in case it was a one off issue.Fingers crossed!I will send review on replacement.UPDATEI returned the product, which was quick and straightforward.Unfortunately the low humming noise was still there.Though disappointed, I checked with an electrical supplier about it's safety. I was told that transformers sometimes emit a low sound.The hole was already cut and it was in spare bedroom, so I decided to try and muffle the sound and keep it.Not sure if I made mych difference.I would agree with others that the screws are poor quality.
