I've used soakers hoses to irrigate my gardens for over 2 decades now. They've always worked great in getting just the right amount of water to all my plants, without wasting a bunch in run-off or oversprays like a sprinkler does. And they go down each spring much more easily than dripper sets, which I've always had to redesign each year. Soaker hoses' only drawback is patching them and connecting them to other soaker hoses. The soakers have a 1/2" diameter; almost all repair/connect kits are designed for 5/8 - 3/4" hoses and are just too big for soakers. But these are specifically designed for the smaller diameter of soaker hoses. And the company also makes repair sets for soakers. I've ordered several sets of each kind so I always have some on hand.

Piece is fine but kinks my soaker hose, so I have to rethink my solution.

Set up my garden with ease

As advertised. The entire system is only adequate. Better than overhead watering but expect constant maintenance to repair leaks.
