Great lighting, perfect for product photography. It is dimmable and can switch between warm and cool white light. The battery lasts a long time and is lightweight.

Great quality and gives a lot of light

Excellent. A few years ago I purchased the smaller version of these lights, which are ideal for providing natural looking, soft, shadow-free lighting. These larger versions are slightly better simply because the lit area is greater. They seem to hold a good charge, so no need for (potentially hazardous) trailing wires when in use. Light to carry.

My first led panel and fine for close up work (brill for macro), but not for general portrait photography. My portrait photo 10W led lamp is brighter. Like the ability to adjust brightness and the handle it came with was useful though tripod legs a bit stiff at first.Further update Jan 25: fitted this to a small table top tripod at (90 degrees) and a masking board to photograph full frame negatives using my Olympus camera and macro lens with remote trigger. Used 70% and then 100% brightness over several hours to photograph about 100 negatives. Did the job well set at 5600K color.

For the price this light is great. Coupled with the fact it is rechargable and I'm very pleased with it

The Neewer NL288 is a great lighting solution which runs for a very long time on battery power. We like this solution so much we have now deployed over 8 complete systems to our camera teams in the field.

As a lifelong studio photographer I have used loads of nice kit over 40+ years. I have used a lot of LED lights too but needed some new flat panels for a project recently.I bought several from UK suppliers and directly from China, where most of these seem to be made now.Long story short: this is the best of the ones I have tested by some distance. As with a lot of cameras and digital kit generally, there are a load of functions you may never need or use, but this is a well specified light. Very solid mounting lug and included spigot adaptor. Generally very solid, professional build quality with nice flat, bright, light output.Unlike some, the finely adjustable light output can quickly be set to true daylight values (5200 - 5500 K). Also, both 1 and 10% brightness steps.Well worth the money: a good investment.

So good I bought another.Very versatile and definitely benefits from a couple of batteries which make the whole thing totally portable.
