Works great but way overkill.
I really do like the results this product gives me but I wish it was about half the size. I feel like people are looking at me funny with this huge bounce card sticking up from my camera. I find myself going back to my homemade one more and more often. And it's just some construction paper with velcro on it.

Finally, I'm not afraid to use my speedlite
I really wish I just bought this thing from the beginning. This has got to be the most simple and effective speedlite modifier out there. The only problem is what am I going to do with a drawer full of the other speedlite add-on doodads that I've accumulated over the years? The strap has a two-position snap fastener, which makes it easy to adjust for smaller and larger flashes. Even with it as tight as it'll go, I still found it flinging off the head of my YN468, so I wrapped a wide rubber band around the top of the flash head, and no more problems. The bendable metal insert makes it possible to get into all sorts of angles without worrying about the top flopping over, and the strap is easy enough to reposition when re-orienting the flash. But none of that matters if the quality of light sucks. The white portion is large enough to spread the light around, and if you're 5-8 feet from your subject, shadows transition nicely behind them. It's essential to have if you don't have a wall or ceiling to bounce off of. I've even spun it around to light up a room when using studio strobes, so you can actually see the surroundings. There are a lot of nice things you can do with this light modifier, and when it's not in use, it lays flat pretty much anywhere.Skip the other bolt/strap on adapters, just pick up one of these and skip a few months and a few hundred dollars of disappointment.

Ingenious and Game Changing!
The Rogue Flashbender is such a simple concept that I'm amazed it hadn't been thought up sooner! Here's a piece of reflective material, sewn onto a rugged fabric backing, with a bendy piece of metal sandwiched in between. It's one of those "why didn't I think of that" ideas that, in practice, literally redefines the way photographers can work with their speedlite of choice. This portable little miracle allows photographers to bend light to suit their needs, achieve stunningly effective bounce effects where there would otherwise be none (outdoors or venues with high ceilings), and, with the larger models and available (and affordable!) attachments, even fashion a snoot or a diffuser. Grab one of these small "flags", a medium bender, and their amazing Rogue Grid (all three can be had for less than the cost of a decent softbox), and you'll have a portable lighting arsenal that will give you field results to rival a studio's worth of gadgetry and gizmos! Definitely a must have for the photographer who likes to pack light and still get pro-quality results!

It works well, but...
It's a good product, it works well but not enough for my needs. I wrapped it around my flash unit and bent it to bounce off it and didn't quite work as I expected, I have found some uses it however so it wasn't a total loss. I guess my expectations were a bit too high since I thought I could use it for everyday use, however I've found myself using it more for Macro shots than anything else.

Perfect for Indoor use!
I bought the flashbender along with a Canon 430EX II and I must say it's the perfect accessory for any flash if you're planning to use it indoors. The main purpose of the bender is to bounce light off it's surface and that's what it does. The area, even if you get the smallest one, is way bigger than the flash itself which will give you softer shadows. HOWEVER, if you wanna use it outside it won't be as useful because you will want to use full flash power and bouncing the light off the flashbender won't give you full power. It's good for fill flash, and you will get the same soft shadow effect but it won't work if you wanna light up a scene and use the High spped mode of your speedlight. For this case it's better to get a softbox... I must add, that it's good for macro photography, bending it toward your subject.

Much softer light than Stofen diffuser
I've been using Stofen diffuser for 5+ years and recently read an article on the Rogue FlashBenders. After reviewing many reviews, I decided to purchase it. After using it for several weeks now, I would say that this does work better than Stofen as many other reviews have commented. The light is much more diffused and softer.I mount mine to the Canon 580 EX II with the flash head turned 90 degrees in the straight vertical position. Reason for that is if I need to take a picture in portrait mode (camera turned 90 degrees), I can just tilt the flash head 90 dgrees and the flashbender is in vertical position. I can't recall where I read/saw this but it's much more useful this way.I'm now looking to purchase the medium size (2) and a couple of cheap flashes to use as an "in-house" studio photos :-).Cheers

kinda floppy
This is a great idea, but for a pro, I'd recommend getting the large sized one. This card is held by one flex-stick in the middle of the card, and the edges flap around. it would be better if it had a flex-stick on either side. Also, the large one works as a snoot. Product build quality is good, but I find myself not using this because it doesn't stay how I want it.

Easy to attach flag for portable flash
This is a nice modifier which easily attaches to my 600 EX RT flash. It only takes a few seconds to attach the velcro secured strap around the head of the unit. It was a component that I needed when using the head as a backlight for portraits.

Not bad for the money
Things change in the flash diffuser world. I used a Stofen diffuser for a while on my Canon 480 flash -still had a problem with highlights and shadows - yes it also depends on the backgrounds distance etc. This thing gives a bigger and just as diffused light, can bounce off the ceilings and walls and works very well. Much prefer it to the Stofen style of plastic cover.Takes a bit of thought in angling/bending the thing for best effect but overall a much improved flash image.Velcro stretchy strap gives a firm non-slip grip to the flash body.

Poorly Designed
Arrived with slight dirt marks on the white flash reflector. Quality is ok. MAIN PROBLEM: It comes with a cover which is Velcro stuck over the reflector but when you remove it there is nowhere to store it. They have fitted the wrong Velcro on the back of the Rogue so the cover cannot be stuck on. Very poorly designed.

Perfect
I wanted a small easily used flash deflector for use at weddings and such like.It had to be basically unobtrusive and this fits the bill admirablyFor anyone wanting an easy to use flash bender this is ideal

excellent item
another great product from Rouge This is fantastic for controlling the direction of the light or even creating a snoot and it takes up almost literally no room whatsoever!

Demon adjustable bounce card
Surprisingly effective, not too heavy. Doesn't cause flash head to droop like Gary Fong light modifier which is too top heavy. Easy to adjust. Best available on the market.
