Rubber Bed Cushion Feet for The Singer Featherweight (Set of 4)

I won’t be around in 71 years to see if these last as long as the original cushions on my Featherweight 221, but they seem sturdy and fit perfectly. Hang on to the original screws, you'll need them to install these replacements. The old screws were a little rusty so I gave them a citric acid bath and scrubbing first, now they’re good as new. If the old cushions have melted over the screws just chip off the cushion into pieces with the screwdriver until the head of the screw is clear. Easy enough.

Ordered these rubber feet for my 81 year old Singer Featherweight, that belonged to my mother, it still works great by the way. The feet fit right on with the old screws. I think the old ones were black, to match the machine, and these are grey. Other than that they seem to be originals. The important thing is they work fine. Much better than the ones my mother fashioned out of Marine-Tex putty. It did work though, just hard.

Perfect fit! When I received the “Bed Cushions” I thought that I had ordered the wrong item. On my machine they were flat, brittle pieces of plastic. I searched online and found a short tutorial. The most difficult part was removing the old ones. Once I got those and the screws off it took a minute to install the new ones! Perfect!Thank you very much for providing these!

I looked around hardware stores to find 5/8" or 16mm cushion feet for my 221 featherweight sewing machine, thinking that this would be an easy task.No such luck. And, No such widget, as far as most hardware stores are concerned. I needed to replace two of the feet. One of the rubber foot had disintegrated into a blobby mess on one of the corners, and I re- installed another one improperly, damaging the rubber, when checking the size for the bad one. I purchased these cushion feet. Perfect fit! Thank you!

Great fit for my 1937 Singer Featherweight 221. Made to replace old rubber feet/anti slip pads on bottom of Singer Featherweight that are screwed in. I Just carefully unscrewed old and scraped out the stuck parts with a flat head screwdriver and reused screws as the replacement feet do not come with new screws so use correct size screwdriver.

These fit very well in the bottom feet on my Singer Featherweight sewing machine and cost less than what was available from some of the specialty shops. They are super simple to install and are of nice firm rubber to protect any surface.
