I have previously had carpel tunnel surgery on both hands and also have arthritis. For the last two years I have had to do any cutting horizontally so I could lay my entire arm down on the ruler and cutting right to left across my body so that I could hold the ruler secure. Certainly not the safest way to go about it. I thought long and hard about the purchase of yet another "gimmick" ruler tool but WOWZA! this is totally amazing and has probably added a decade onto my quilting life. It absolutely does what it says on the videos and is easy to use. No more stress on my hands. The tool is well made. Get this, you won't regret it. My only negative would be I thought the price was a bit much but after having it for a week, I am a believer and I am once again looking forward to making some new quilts. I Came to Amazon, put it in my cart a few times and took it out, too. Did I need this? The price was a little steep. But I am SO HAPPY I Finally bought it because it is amazinggggggg!!! Cutting accuracy is on point when I use this and it keeps all the fabric in place- no slipping, wrinkling up or moving out of place. The yellow coloring makes it so easy to see the edges.
