These hinges, half surface, look really nice on the finished product. Many people are complaining that the screws are poor quality. I had no issues with the screws. I used an awl to mark the center of the hole, predrilled each hole, and the screws went in perfectly. Adjusting the tension was simple with the included rods.

Nice medium duty spring loaded door hinges. The spring loading has a of of force but can be adjusted pretty easily. I've installed them on two weathered exposed, wood storm doors.

This hinge has a nice vintage appearance and the finish is nice. Its quality seems good and it is sturdy enough to, I think, stand up to years of use. That being said, it is not inexpensive so its flaws are bothersome. Over the first month of use I've needed to adjust the spring tension setting because the spring tension has significantly weakened over that short period. Also, the spring is very noisy when under load.

Excellent quality. I used 3 hinges on a 30" x 80" wood screen door, and it works great. These surface mount hinges give the door a timeless look.

Used these on a cedar screen door I had made from 2x4's. Thought they wouldn't be strong enough to shut the door on its own - was I ever wrong. They have enough umph to shut the door, but not slam the snozhberries out of it!

Once I got the right screen door hinge the wooden door went up in minutes!

I hope the hinges are better than the screws supplied. So far two were twisted off by their head. It’s over a hundred degrees out and this is not what you expect for the price. I’ll never make this mistake again!!!

Hinders work fine. Quality could have been better. Was not the finish but they are good. I would suggest offering this product in a three pack. I had to order 4 to get 3.

Used for hinges on a screen door. Can be adjusted to handle additional weight of a glass insert in screen door.

This hinge works great. We had a problem with one that was immediately replaced when we contacted the manufacturer. Just remember to watch the little nubs that are used to hold the tension of the hinge. They are easily lost.

Spring broke rendering it useless to close the door however it is painted and installed. I added a separate door closer the next day so now it’s just a very expensive hinge. Sorry but I don’t recommend this product.
