I ordered this product to be a cover up after showering on a hot day. I am 5'8" and this hangs to the floor even with the straps shorted for a more modest upper coverage. The fabric is thin; when the dress is away from my skin, light can be clearly seen through it. Thin fabric tends to highlight even small body bumps, like my belly button. I would only be comfortable wearing this in public with an extra top over it. The fit is loose as I wanted it to be.

Absolutely adore this basic and comfy dress.My satisfaction level far exceeded what I was fearing might not fit well, as online clothing purchases tend to be risky in this regard.However my confidence in going ahead w my ordering this for myself was prompted by reading all the other reviews submitted. I definitely agree 100% with all the positive postings.I wore this to a Botanical Garden venue and it was cool and roomy, yet in no way does it fit like a saggy baggy- (shapeless)- " potatoe sack."I ordered the black color and honestly thought I mighta regretted wearing it due to the hot weather in Sputhern California that day at gardens, but I may as well have been donned in an all white garment as I did not experience the usual heat absorbing sensation that black material can create.I ordered the Medium size and it fit me perfectly. I am 5' 6 and weigh between 138 and 140 and it fits as tho I had it custom tailored to my body. So happy I took the chance on this fabulous garment!Oh and I saw many other reviews commenting in the dress being long enough to drag on ground but for myself, I wore flats and had zero issues.Highly recommend!

This is a nice dress but i was a bit creased when I received it, so hoping the creases will wash out! It's a bit too long for me as I'm 5'1" but when I adjusted the straps it just skimmed the floor. I just need to take it up a bit and it should be fine. Nice that it has pockets too!A nice dress for summer.

The soft fabric is a nice medium weight with a flattering drape that's not clingy. With judicious layering, i can wear this year round. For cooler weather, add a shirt and/or a sweater. A half-slip and Leggings underneath have kept me toasty warm in the winter. I LOVE the pockets. They easily hold a couple of keys on a small keychain. The design is simple, practical, sooo comfortable and elegant. The straps adjust so that you can wear it with flats or heels. I have worn this confidently in casual settings, at work, AND at fancy dinners. All i needed to do was accessorize accordingly. I wash the dresses (i have several all in black) in cold water in a front-loading washer. Dry on very low heat until slightly damp then hang to finish drying. They have been through all kinds of weather, many washings and wearing and have not ripped or pilled yet. I've gone ahead and donated many items of clothing hanging in my closet that i don't need anymore. My closet looks so nice and uncluttered, and i don't spend nearly as much time deciding what to wear.

I'm 5.9" and about 135 lbs with a 34D chest. The dress is a little short for my liking and when I let the straps out to make it longer it shows too much breast or my bra. The material is thinner than I would like and the pockets sit in a weird spot on me. They stick out and are very noticeable instead of being seemless pockets. I think it'd be great for someone a couple inches shorter.

Super cute! One of my favorite things to wear this summer, and will transition well into fall. I am pretty tall, and worried it would be too short on me (a problem I sometimes run into with maxi skirts/dresses) but the length is perfect for me. The straps are adjustable, which is really nice. The v-neck is very flattering, and I wear the straps a little looser than normal with a bralette underneath. I'm 5'9" and have a slender build and got the small, which is perfect. It is loose enough for it to be a casual dress, but not so big that it overwhelms me. It's very soft and stretchy fabric. It's a pretty cheap dress, so I don't expect this to last me forever, but it's still decent enough quality. The pockets are handy also. Overall, super pleased with this.

Love it, perfect for these hot days. I went according to reviews and got a large. I could have went with a medium. 5'3 3/4", 185. I'm bigger up top and smaller on the bottom. The bottom touches the ground but doesn't step on. Thinking of buying more. I would wear this every day. The only thing is that adjustable straps kept loosening up.

I am 5' 1" 135 lbs and a 34c. I ordered a small because I had order a small of the polka dot style and it was very roomy baggy. So I thought this dress would be baggy in a small but it isn't baggy on me. This one is different, the material is more cotton and stretchy (the other one was more polyester). This one in small was more form fitting not totally as baggy like the picture. But I'm a size 6 normally. I wear a small or medium. I needed to get the medium if I wanted to look like the ones the models are wearing. I don't have to hem it the bottom either which is usually the case for me. I recommend it.
