Great towing solution for swing-away mirror trucks
I wanted to write this review because I had a heck of a time finding good pictures of these installed, and found it difficult to imagine how they worked. Hopefully my pictures will help, because these are a really good looking option for towing mirrors on these older trucks. Mine is a 1995 Ford F250, and as you can see they sit quite nicely. Good chrome, well-made and sturdy; it's black plastic on the top and bottom, but once you see how they're put together it makes a lot of sense for those pieces to be plastic. You remove your stock mirrors (usually with a larger Torx bit and a LOT of leverage, be prepared to turn the socket wrench hard) and bolt these up with included half-inch bolts and washers. Depending on how you want to set them up (convex mirror top or bottom in "normal" driving), you remove the bolt at the top of the gooseneck and reverse it for left and right mirrors. The price is for one mirror, I bought two.The "normal" position has the gooseneck angling toward the truck, and actually slightly reduces the overall width from stock mirrors; the "towing" position requires you loosen the bolt, swing the gooseneck outwards, flip the mirror 180 degrees on the vertical, then tighten again. This really puts the mirror out away from the truck, which is great for seeing whatever you're towing. Also the convex mirror allows me to see not just what's behind and beside, but what's below -- I can see all four tires touching the road, great for spotting a low or flat tire early. This isn't really an "adjust on the fly" setup, you'll need to carry a half-inch wrench with you in the glove box (no biggie) to crank both bolts down when you've got them where you want them -- but once tightened I've had no trouble with them coming loose. The gooseneck is substantial enough that there's virtually no vibration at freeway speeds or down washboard roads.Anyhow, hopefully my pictures will help. Great mirrors, I love being able to see so well.

Nice upgrade.
Mounted drivers side of 96 F-350 crew cab long box srw. Visibility is excellent. Mine seems to have stainless bolts. Door slams and high winds at high speed will knock the mirror slightly out of alignment.

Stylish Mirror
Purchased these mirrors for towing a 5th wheel trailer. With these there is no drilling or unsightly extra mounting bars. They just bolt up in place of the stock 86 F-250 mirrors. They really look great on the truck, are very well made, and they don't rattle or vibrate. As far as performance...the mirrors really allow one to see surrounding traffic and just about eliminates blind spots. Makes pulling a trailer much safer and easier to back up. They are easy to clean and again they look sharp and really do compliment the looks of the truck.I highly recommend these for anyone that pulls a trailer. 50 thumbs up! Really!

Good view
Mirrors have good expanded field of vision but shake distorting sight view.

Great quality and value!!!
Definitely a must have if you pull long trailers. And would reccomend even just to replace the garbage OEM mirrors.. You can see everything with these, and they're a much cheaper alternative to getting new swing out mirror brackets like you would see on a semi truck. Very little vibration in mine.

Perfect product
These are exactly what I needed. Dually truck with flat bed but had swing out mirrors that weren't enough. This fit the bill perfectly.

Very good product and the price point is excellent
Very good product and the price point is excellent. The angled mounting bracket is very useful and allows several mounting options.
