Prevents dust scratches to the surface, and a nice bit of colour to the device when not in use. Probably not recommended but with the cover on I feel comfortable leaving small/light objects like phones on the Push.For any one wondering this item will dampen and knocks but I would recommend an additional case for transporting the Push2 about.
