Works great
I have a hard time looking at the slight color differences in the PH. This make it so much easier to see where your PH is and takes the guesswork out

I purchased new. Came in used
Hannah makes a great product but it appears the dealer simply sent me a used kit. Box was broken and chemical checkers looked used. Do buy a Hannah checker, DONT buy from this dealer

unreliable product
The biggest problem I face with my Reef tank is maintaining the proper PH levels. I have used API test kits without problems for over 20 years, but decided that maybe a digital PH meter would be better answer. Initially the Hanna PH meter worked well, and I learned to trust it. Sadly, that was a huge mistake, as it started telling me that my PH had spiked greater that 8.6! Because I trusted the Hanna tester, I started pushing the PH levels down not realizing that they were actually too low already!! Needless to say, this was catastrophic for my tank, and by the time I discovered the problem many of my sensitive corals had begun to die.Long story short.... Don't trust this tester.... Stick with API Test kits or if you want to go digital, get a Lab grade probe like the Bluelab
