Useless Guarantee
Worked fine for about 10 months then developed a fault that samsung could not or would not repair. I sent the tablet off to samsung five times for repair, under the terms of the 24 month guarantee, and they just kept sending the tablet back saying they could not replicate the fault. To help their repair team I even sent them a video of the fault occurring with a full comprehensive description of the fault, their tech staff ignored the video and still sent the tablet saying again that they could not replicate the fault, as I was returning the tablet to be repaired ,{and not to have the fault replicated}, I can only assume that this is their way of ignoring the 24 month guarantee that the tablet came with. I am now stuck with a tablet that randomly switches off and resets about 15 times or more an hour...I would not recommend this product or the customer service provided by samsung..

Fantastic
I began with another make 3 years ago. I was always having problems with it.Returned to the manufacturer twice. Gave up in the end. As I had already purchased a Samsung "Smartphone" I decided to give this one a try. Time is young yet but so far so good. No complaints so far.Ease of use. Easy to set up. I am in my mid 70's.Not brought up with technology-even I can manage it.Only fault. Why with all new equipment do you not get a "MANUAL"? Why a PDF file. Which, if I have a query, I have to go to my PC,which is in my "Study" find the file and look up my query. I know that I could print off the PDF file-over100 pages, I don't think so.

it's a very good product. I could have done without a lot ...
I've had this product for about two years and my biggest bug bear is battery recharge time. It takes ages. I don't mean hours. I mean days. Compared to my wife's iPad mini which charges very quickly the Galaxy Tab is a snail.That apart, it's a very good product. I could have done without a lot of the pre-installed apps, most of which I don't use and take up storage space.

Great tablet - just remember to take off the plastic cover!
A word of warning - take the plastic cover off the front of the device before you switch it on. I left mine on in case it did not work and guess what, when I tried to switch it on, nothing. So I spoke to the technical dept and ended up sending it back. The replacement arrived in good time and the same thing happened. Then, by chance, I hit the volume button and heard a ping. Well, I thought, if its making a noise it must be working so I took the plastic cover off. It was only then that I realised that the plastic cover was black which meant that I had not seen the screen come to life and thought it was not working - doh! Otherwise, all good. Pretty much the same as my 7 inch Galaxy so no surprises. Very pleased with it.

Never buy Second Hand
Having purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 knowing it had been brought up to date by an authorised company, On arrival I found that the Tablet would not take a charge, therefofe the the inspection was not carried out and the Tab was useless. I havr rated it 3 star out of respect for Samsung products not on the quality of the Tab purchased ,

Using the tab to do this review. Bought this to use around the house in conjunction with a wi fi system and its great. Still use the laptop for certain things but overall use this most of the time. Nice big screen and the keyboard is easy to use as its also that much bigger. The apps are good and being older its possable to watch i player and u tube ect without straining the old eyes too much. Really pleased.

10.1 inches is perfect playing games
10.1 inches is perfect playing games, watching videos or just looking through books or Gmails. The battery life can last me up to couple of days. The side speakers are also loud and is clear when play videos.The camera is a bit poor and blurred out when taking photos. but i usually take my s5 with me for the photo taking. The only other flaw i could find with it. was when i got it the operating system was a bit slow and took time to open application. But Samsung put out a update to improve and now the system has been improved and feels more response with my movment
