Pros: Ability to plug USB cord into an electrical power adapter cube then into a regular electrical socket dismissing a need for batteries. Easy ability to change the led light bulb when it burns out… just lift the globe. Though I did not like the extreme brightness of the light it emitted with the bulb it came with and would’ve preferred a much softer, dimmer glow, I can understand that some would prefer a much brighter light. And it certainly was pretty bright! 🤩🤩🤩P.S. The cell phone pics here didn’t do it justice. YES, there are moon-like engravings on it that are noticeable in real life..it doesn’t just look like a white globe. My phone camera isn’t that great.Cons: it did not come with a remote like some others do. Which was fine with me since I have my accent lighting on timers anyway, though it may pose some inconvenience for others if placed in a hard to reach area. There are no color changing options either like some others as well. (Who heard of a green moon anyway?😂) If you want a different color you need to change the led light bulb. One thing I would’ve changed if I was the designer would be the option to be able to dim the brightness. Instead I purchased another much less brighter led bulb to replace the one it came with.All in all, it’s still a great accent lamp for its value and I would certainly recommend it nonetheless.

No instructions included to tell of need to take it apart & tighten bulb. Initially thought it didn’t work. Light bulb too bright😎 I replaced bulb with 7.5 watt night light led bulb, and now it’s perfect!!

The media could not be loaded.  Looks great. It comes in a box without any foam packing or protection, so I unpacked and re-packed it before giving it as a gift. Just made it feel nicer and less “printed by the neighbor kid and shoved in a box”. But the actual lamp is super cool, looks really good on and when off just looks like a textured cream globe. I wish you could choose the color of the base, I’m not a huge fan of the honey oak, but it’s paintable. My friend (who is obsessed with the moon) loved it and that made me happy.

I was actually really pleasantly surprised with this lamp. I got it because I thought it would be a cute interesting display but it’s actually so pretty and well made I now use it as a bedside lamp. The moon part is textured and actually looks like the moons surface! For once I think the amazon pictures don’t do it justice. Would be great for a kid because it’s not glass so it won’t break and the bulb isn’t exposed so no finger burning dangers. Plus it came with a bulb already in the lamp and a spare! I’m guessing it might be a little difficult to put a new bulb in because of how the moon portion fits so snugly over the base but not overly so.

In general, the lamp pictured is accurate. However, instead of a 3000K bulb, mine came with a 6000K bulb. It's WAY too bright. But at least it takes a standard bulb, so it's fairly easy to tone it down. I'm planning to get a Phillips Hue bulb for it, which will allow infinite brightness and color adjustments.So in the end, it works, but the one I received was pretty unpleasant to look at with the bright bulb it came with.

I bought this moon lamp for my kid's bedroom, I was frustrated when I try to order two, Amazon only allow one purchase at a time, so I have to order twice to get a pair. Anyway, the two bulbs came with this lamp is too bright for the night sleep, so I replace the LED bulb to dimmable and got a Lutron smart lamp dimmer for this lamp, now it works great as the night lamp in my kid's bedroom!

Read the description wrong. Wanted the "moon" surface lamp. This is the Earth lamp...just as described. My mistake, so I am happy b/c it sits on top of an armoire, so you really can't see the surface that well. The remote did not work at first, but we took the battery out and reinserted and it works now. I was looking at moon lamps and just assumed this was of the moon's surface, not a world globe. It does what it is supposed to, so I happy with purchase.

It's like the moon moved into your home. Matches with any decor and just this one light is bright enough to light up 1000sq, day or night. 5 Stars
