Review of the book and CD's
I have the book and CD's.I have been a meditator for well over a decade and have played with many Buddhist, Christian, and other more secular methods of meditation. I have felt that something is missing in the more well known paths out there. Each technique seemed to fail after a while so I jumped around after giving one method my all. I found that the most direct route to transformation is a visceral experiencing. Not simply attending to the present and the breath as most methods teach. It's also not directing your mind and experience as methods of visualization, chant and so on do.Bruce's methods seem to encompass everything in the Buddhist methods but take off where they leave off. As in going beyond attending to the present and breath and deeply moving to embodiment and experiencing. You literally work or feel through your psychodynamic past which manifests as blocks in your bodily and deeper systems and organically clear what's there so it can flow and change.Bruce is a highly confident communicator and down to earth. Some have been taken aback by his up front and powerful personality but he is highly sincere and helpful.I would recommend learning the Focusing Technique by Dr. Gendlin as a complement to this work which is a great way to work with and release the more gross psychological material, which helps lead to this dissolving work which goes much deeper.Personally, I recommend the audio over the book. Or both. I just loved the CD's.

10 STARS!
If I could give these CDs 10 stars, I would. The information and practical solutions given have taken me out of blame, resentment, anger, frustration, grief, physical pain...everything that flesh is heir to! A lifetime of living with large and small emotions have been resolved using these techniques. I also bought the companion book, which was valuable for making sure I was getting my information correct.I have been a spiritual student for 50 years in both Eastern and Western modalities. (Gosh, I'm a slow learner!) All this seeking has probably led me to the point of being willing to let go of everything that needed to be let go of. I hope this review and hearing about my results with these CD's will be helpful for others wanting to understand why we move into places of deep discomfort and how to heal them.

A solid introduction to water breathing meditation
In this book, the author introduces readers to the Taoist water Breathing meditation. This book is similar to his other book Relaxing into Your Being. If anything it's a bit more stripped down and focuses on the basics, but its a god book to start with and I'd recommend it because the author takes the time to explore how to apply this technique to internal work and emotional blockages that's a bit more grounded than his other books on the same topic. I found it useful for revisiting what I'd previously learned and it will also be helpful for anyone who wants to learn meditation.

Great teaching set
If what you are looking for is a soothing music and the typical guided meditations then this is not for you. That said, this set has given me far more, it has given me understanding that I can apply to meditating and to life, and the ability to meditate with just some music, on my own at my own pace... it has demystified the process and brought with it some wisdom as well. He is able to break down the great mystic practices in the east in ways that a person from the west can understand, and in a way that makes enough common sense it is easily memorable. Given how many years of experience and understanding he is offering in this CD set it is more than worth it, better than any class you will find the the $$.

One of the best books on Taoism.
BKF is atrue master of Taoism and a true taoist priest trained in China. This method he teaches is the Water Method from the lineage of Lao Tzu. He does agood job of teaching the basics especially of dissolving external as well as internal. I've done dissolving since 1970 and can testify as to the correctmess of his method of instruction.

Letting Go
TAO of Letting Go: Meditation for Modern Living Haven't finished listening, but up to now Frantzes has a very good and simple way of informing you on the who, what when, where, why and how of understanding the dissolving method of meditation. Ice to water, water to gas.
