a lovely book

I love this book! I bought it for Valentines for my 3 years old boy but I’m keeping it on the bookshelf all year round. The message is great: our words have an impact in how we make others feel.My son also loved the book and we always read it.

This book is simple, but it’s message is profound. It is the perfect book to teach your children about how words are powerful. And that words can be used to lift others up or to hurt other’s hearts. It is a very important book, especially now. It’s a winner!

I recorded a video of my myself reading this book as a read aloud for my elementary students and it brought some of them to tears. Our children (and adults) need to know the importance and POWER of the words we choose to say. This book conveys that message and encourages use of our words for good in a simple and beautiful way. Beautiful and touching for all ages.

So simple and sweet. This is a nice nice visual tool to add to a discussion about the power of words.
