Stainless is the way to go
We built a 20' LOA, 8' Beam, Dory, ply on frame boat in our backyard and used these staples to mechanically affix the white oak, epoxy adhered, floor grates used inside the boat. These stainless staples made assembly of the oak grates easier and faster than by using epoxy alone. We also used longer brads made by Grex Power Tools in the assembly of other components such as gasoline tank enclosures/seats and battery boxes for use on the boat. Highly recommended for any similar projects where stainless is the way to go.

Tight fit in my Senco SLP20
In my initial review I stated that this size pin from Grex didn't fit my Senco pin gun. I've had the gun for many years, but have been working out of a stock of Senco-branded pins. Turns out the Senco 1-1/4in pins are actually 1-3/16in, but their other pin lengths meet the nominal size (1", 1-1/2" and etc.). I did find that I could fit a partial rack of these actual 1-1/4in pins. A full rack gets a bit too tight to slide forward easily. Just an odd quirk of this particular pin gun. Otherwise the Grex pins appear to be of good quality.

MAKE PERFECT G SCALE CODE 332 GARDEN RAILROAD RAIL SPIKES!
The CREX brand 5/8" 18 gauge stainless steel brads make really good corrosion proof code 332 rail spikes for hand-laid G scale garden railroad (outdoor) track. Place the brads with about 1/8" below the heads showing in a vice and bend over with a hammer and 3/4" cold chisel. Complete the bend with the hammer against the vice jaw to make 1/2" long spikes with 1/8" heads to hold the rail to the cedar railroad ties. None of these brads have broken at the bend. The "spikes" need to be individually cut apart with a razor knife carefully! The "spikes" can be nailed down by holding them with needle nose pliars, or the cedar ties can be pre-drilled with a small 1/32" or #68 drill bit in a moto tool. These "spikes" will last virtually forever, and cost $0.0085 each as opposed to the packaged "spikes" which run $0.02 each, and are NOT stainless steel and will quickly rust in an outdoor environment.

I prefer stainless brads
These 18 gauge stainless brads work well in my Porter Cable BN200B Brad Nailer. I prefer stainless for exterior use and for interior if there is any possibility of moisture. I also have Grex 5/8, 3/4, and 1 1/4 stainless brads. I could not find stainless brads in the local big box stores.

These work great
Bought these for an Arrow brand electric brad gun. The brads are great; well made and well packaged. Wish the brad gun could receive good reviews. Going to get an air powered gun next to see if it does better. Had to finish driving these with a hammer and punch. Most brads crumple when you try to drive them in by hand but these held up pretty good. Would buy again.

Poor quality
Bought the 1 1/2" stainless steel brads because I was doing a redwood project for outside. I first bought a new Hitachi 18 ga brad nailer that would accommodate the 1 1/2" size since my old Bostitch was limited to 1 1/4". When I first started using the stainless steel brads, I notice that the nailer was jamming and bending the brads a lot. At first, I thought it was the new Hitachi nailer or the air was not set correctly. I keep adjusting the air and the nailer with no success. Nailer kept jamming after only two or three uses. I then change to 1 1/4" inch Bostitch brads with no problems. Good to know that there is nothing wrong with my new Hitachi nailer. Grex stainless steel brads just didn't work in my Hitachi nailer

Falls apart
The sticks of brads are poorly collated, hardly stuck together, so when you try to pick up a stick to put in the nailer, it falls apart and all you end up with is a bunch of loose brads. Might get away with it with steel nails, but since they are stainless, they do not stick to the magnetic strip in the nailer. Really hard to use. The package I got was full of short bits, no full sticks.

Work well for exterior projects
Stainless steel as described. did not stick to a magnet and are definitely sturdier than aluminum. They fit my very old Duofast BB-4440. Used them to attach plastic lattice to wood screen frames since the groove for the spline was worn and loose. I will order a couple of other sizes to have them available for other exterior projects.
