Does a great job. My husband was so impressed he did 3 cars! You do have to be a monkey to get under your car though. Also you should be told to cover your face as it kind of sprays your face and the cleaner burns your arms

This stuff is amazing. If you follow the directions and prep the metal as you should and clean it. It will create a finish that is extreme tough and looks great. It goes on super easy, and smoothes out any brush strokes. It is pricey but well worth it. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the re-usability. This stuff costs so well it’s nearly impossible to open the can again. I had to drill a hole the next time I wanted to use it.

Worth Spending a Little More for a System That Actually WorksI’ve used quite a few rust prevention products over the years, and I finally decided to try the complete POR-15 Stop Rust Undercoating System while refreshing the underside of one of my collectible Jeeps. All three products were sealed properly with no leaks or damaged containers, which is always something I pay attention to when ordering liquids.I especially like that this is a complete system instead of trying to piece together products from different manufacturers. Following the recommended steps gave me confidence that everything was designed to work together.The gloss black finish lays down beautifully with proper preparation. It leaves a hard, durable coating that completely transforms older metal and gives it a clean, restored appearance rather than simply covering it up. As with most coatings, the prep work determines the final result, so taking the time to clean and prepare the surface is well worth the effort.This isn’t the least expensive option available, but I don’t buy products like this based on price. If used as instructed, this is a good product, I recommend 2 coats though.

I have bought this product several times. It definitely does as designed and 1 quart gives you lots of coverage. The only downside, it is not UV stabilized, so you need a top coat.

A little pricey for the system and I needed to buy an additional container to do the whole truck frame….but I followed the directions and hopefully added some years of life to my old tundra. Do not get it on your skin and get it off right away if you do or it will be on you for 5 days…like me. It soaked thru my sleeves and gloves.

I used a brush which wasted a lot of product. I bought a second can locally at an auto parts store to finish the second coat on my keel while it was still tacky and not cured. The first can was much more viscous and perhaps sat on a shelf too long or lost its seal partially. The second can was almost watery and applied beautifully and economically with a roller. The brushed side with the original can bought through Amazon left pin hole size spots not visible until rust showed up in those very small voids five days later. I think the problem was using the brush. The preparatory products were hard to access their effectiveness. I will roll one more layer to address the pin hole problem. Expensive product but creates a great encapsulation of my cast iron keel. Fellow sailboat owners say it is still protecting after 15 years of their boats in the salt water. This offsets the cost. Check the date of the product. It should be watery when opened. I will use it on my steel boat trailer as it isn’t galvanized.
