Sturdy, gorgeous sturdy end connectors.I also own the Pocket Hose.INITIAL IMPRESSIONS - COMPARISON WITH POCKET HOSE:Less flexible than Pocket Hose but hardier construction, less likely to break. The Pocket Hoses have lasted me about a year each.This TopRay "kinks" a more than the Pocket Hose (say 4" diameter kinks, no flat out bent kinks) but it still weighs less and kinks less than a premium conventional hose. I may end up using one of these for the "base" hose and put the Pocket Hose at the end of it to have the best of both worlds.POSITIVE: What this has ALL OVER the Pocket Hose is the quality of it's end connectors. These are flat out ENGINEERED. Wonderfully made and the shutoff valve at the end of the hose is gravy.CAVEAT regarding all these modern hoses: CAREFUL OF ROSE THORNS! when you are dragging the hose around. They will take out even the best of these hoses. Just an FYI.

I love this hose. HOWEVER - the plastic strain relief fitting between the brass fitting and the black nylon hose slid out of place, so now the nylon is directly rubbing against the machined edge of the brass. This happened after 3 or 4 uses. There seems to be no adhesive or mechanical method of holding the strain reliever in place. The hose is showing wear at this point now and I cannot return it. Don't like this at all. For a hose that is made very well, this oversight should concern other buyers. Love the hose. Bad manufacturing. Would like to replace it, but cannot due to Amazon's policies.

I absolutely love this hose! It expands the full distance when water is turned on and shrinks back down when water is shut off which makes it easier to wind up and store. The only thing to be mindful of is like me, I do have a timer on one of my water valves that has a sprinkler at the end to water my plants. This hose cannot be used for that function since it bunches to be so small and only extends when water is in the "on" position.

I wasn't sure how much i'd like this non-traditional hose..... now that we've used it, we'll NEVER go back to conventional hard plastic hose. My wife is 6m pregnant and she can easily handle this. I love that when you turn off water valve feeding those hose, it actually shrinks up on its own. Its light weight. Best thing ever! We use daily.

Got the hose, used it for two summers and it was my back up hose, only used it maybe 15 times. Went to use it today and it blew up. Useless. Save your money and buy something else. POS.

This product worked well for about three months, then it started springing leaks all over the length of the hose. I bought several of these hoses this in June and by August they were leaking. It has been long enough now that returns are not an option, so I guess I am out the costs of the hoses. Apparently the expansion and contraction are not good for the inner hose. I had one hose that was charged constantly for a watering system for a flower garden and it started leaking as well.

These hoses are light when not filled with water, making them easier to position. Then turn on the water, and do what you gotta do. Empty when done and it's easy to carry back to the spigot and coil up. Very convenient

I Really like that it’s good quality it needs some updated. It doesn’t extend to its full size until water is filled up which makes it harder to reach further places. I have to wait everytime for it to fill up with water to expand to its full length, than walk to the right place, water and repeat. That can get time consuming
