This Apexstone tamper works well! This is a great way to consistently and dependably tamp down your single or double shots in the portafilter. Please note the fit is snug but it will compress down to the ridge/max fill line that you may have on your single and double filters. (My filters are from a Casabrews machine) I get a solid puck that comes out after brewing the way I want it-good, even compression, smooth tasting shots. I almost returned it as not fitting but realized there is very little room to compress a single shot and I had already compressed the shot the tiny distance it needed to compress although it felt like it hadn't compressed-so be aware of this on your single shots. Moves down more on double shots. In summary-looks great, broad handle surface for your palm to compress, solid durable material, dependable results at a great price. It's a keeper!

This is a very nice tamper. Keeps coffee level when you tamp it and keeps you from over tamping. Just wish it gave an indication of when you've reached 30 lbs of pressure. I would recommend it as a basic tamper.

Decently made espresso tamper but I wish that the spring loaded feature was a bit better in its function to compress the espresso in the puck.

I wasn't certain what to expect as this product cost 3-5 times less than many other offerings. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is robust, has good weight to it, the stainless is polished and smooth, feels good in my hand, and it is well balanced. Firm and robust textured plastic grip too. It is a simple tamper, does not have a pressure restricting spring, but I don't need that. Excellent quality. Completely satisfied and happy I didn't spend $30-$40 on any other.

It’s an alright stamper and it’s not the same exact size

It works just as it should. It has a slight spring, just enough to pack the coffee.

Does an excellent job. Love my Cuban coffee!
