I bought this as we recently installed a sewage treatment plant in the back garden, and it works based on the bacteria, so we cannot use any harsh, anti bacterial chemicals in the household. I was worried it might not be as effective but it's just as good as the usual ones in the supermarkets. Minus the harsh chemicals. This product is better than any other much more aggressive product for cleaning and scale removal. The only downside is the smell, which is pleasant but quite strong, so I have to leave the bathroom once I sprayed the sink and a bathtub. I do feel like I'm inhaling the chemicals (apparently there are no chemicals in the product, but that's just my subjective impression of the strong smell).
