Good for meal replacement
These are fantastic! The price is much better than the local store. I am not diabetic, but I use these as a meal replacement as I am trying to lose weight. I always eat lighter at night, so most nights I have one of these for dinner, and it keeps me full. Great to pack for an overnight trip!

Extremely difficult to open
Great product if you can ever get them open. The "tearable" strip is generally untearable with strong fingers and nails. If you use a knife point, be very careful it doesn't slip and puncture your hand.

In all honesty, this drink isn't terrible, it's just not great. It tastes kind of watered down as if they started out with a decent flavor but stretched it to make more.

I have tried dozens of protein drinks everything from glucerna to great value and everyone of them spikes my blood sugar. Not this brand! The coffee and chocolate are my favorites, just wish they came with a tad more protein.

Disappointed Customer.
I am a regular buyer of Splenda French Vanilla Diabetic Care Shakes. They are very good. However, my last order was canceled. Out of stock. So, I opted for the Cafe' Latte. It is TERRIBLE. The French Vanilla is creamy, smooth and kind of sweet. I could put it in my coffee as a creamer. The Cafe' Latte taste like someone drank a cup of coffee, then put water in the cup and bottled it. Very thin, not creamy, very little taste, very bad product. I see that some retailers have doubled the price of the Splenda French Vanilla Diabetic Care Shakes. It's a real concern for people on a fixed income and health care issues to afford health supplements.
