UGREEN 10Gbps M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure

Works great! Compatible with nvme ssd drives not sata m.2 - But I knew that. Easy for me to clone, erase and format my all of nvme drives without having to open my pc.

I purchased this to use the SSD drive from a dead laptop as an external drive. The original SSD was from a Windows (tm) PC, which I replaced with a Macbook. (I reformatted the drive for MacOS, and I’m using it as my Time Machine drive for backups.) Important to note, I had zero problems!

Used it to clone my steam machine drive to a higher capacity one, worked fine in macOS

These enclosures are great. The usb c cables are worthless though. They won’t work on any of my devices and it auto disconnects from all my pcs. Honestly just use better usb c cables with it and you’re fine.

Great value. Works better than I expected. I had an old m.2 laying around and decided to grab this enclosure. Really happy with my read/write speeds. Including the data cable is a nice bonus.

Title. Simple to install SSD from crashed computer and explore files using Windows. Two gotchas - the screws are tiny, and I wish there were a LED to tell you if it is getting power. Edit: Used it for a second SSD and works great. May need to play with changing permissions to view SSD main drive from another computer. There IS an LED to tell if there is power.

Simple to set up and use. Not tested for speed but works well on my macbook air.

Works but the included cable is garbage - would detect but would fail within a minute or so. After swapping the cable it worked great.

Come with a thermal sticker and a PH00 screwdriver. saves time on getting parts.
