Will the meter work with Progressive Dynamics (PD9245CV) 45 Amp Power Converter with Charge Wizard ?

Not all of the Progressive Dynamics Converters have this option built in, it requires a special electrical socket to be built into the case. If your Converter has this socket for the Charge Wizard to be plugged in to then the Wizard will work. They have several Power Converters with different amperage output capabilities but they make only one Charge Wizard, it appears to work with all versions.

Will this work with the pd9160alv? i don't see a port on the pictures here...

Yes, the pendant works fine with 9160ALV. Just placed a 9160ALV and lithium battery in service (former AGM) and tested. It only has two levels, 14.6 and 13.6, but that is because the charger is set up that way. But it works fine

Is the connector a rj11 (6p4c) or a handset (4p4c)?

The connector is an RJ9 Handset style.

is there an owner's manual?

It has instructions on where to plug it in but it only works on certain converters. No real owner’s manual.

Makes the Progressive Dynamics 9200 series charger/converter work with lithium batteries.

I upgraded my batteries to lithium. The Progressive Dynamics charger/inverter was no longer able to charge my coach batteries. With this pendant, I can now force charge my lithium batteries to full capacity which saved me from having to upgrade my charger/converter.

Probably a great product

It didn’t cure the issue I have with a progressive charger for lithium batteries which was it wouldn’t provide the charging rate specified and they recommended trying this to correct it. It did not provide any benefit. Was easy to plug in.

Nice to have a visual

Installed this along with the PD9360. Not specifically for this unit but it works fine. I also have a Victron 712 battery shunt monitor that provides the voltage measurement. The flashing led on the remote pendant corresponds to the voltage measurement on the Victron 712, plus the voltage output of the 9360 can be changed with the 92201 pendant.

it might annoy some folks

works well to control PD 55amp converter. The little green light flashes all the time to signal which mode its in, so if you have it in a spot that you see it all the time, it might annoy some folks. I figure you could always put a piece of elect tape over the led? Anyway, good product. would buy again.

Look / see, charger mode tattle tale and override.

The status module is probably not an essential but I wanted it just in case I found it needed in the future. It lets me know the mode the charging system is in and lets me change it if needed. Mostly, I can see it is in a mode and working ok. It is a simple plug in device with a foam tape holder. I would have much more appreciated a device with a digital readout of voltage and charge status taht would look nice in the living area but this will suffice. It is not a unit I would want to mount on the outside living area. I mounted it under the sink next to where my charger / power suply is located.
