Premium Gaming and Computer Glasses - Blocks Blue Light - Riot

Good quality blue light glasses. I notice a difference putting them on after staring at the screen for a while. Definely help on the strain of the eyes. Think there is a bit of magnification on them too, which helps. Cost more than other similar glasses, but believe it is worth it after comparing to my wife's $15 pair.

Not sure if i notice much a difference in eye irritation but it has a bit of zoom to it that focuses the quality and makes it easier to look at phone. As far as gaming im glad I didn't get yellow tinted ones i got these clear lens because i do not like the warm setting on my tv and these clear i barely notice a change. They fit ok and seem built well enough if taken care of will last a long time.

Update 2 years later! I still toss these on occasion but have moved to a pair of glasses that don't have the magnification on them. Too long with the magnification gives me a headache. I definitely suggest only using these while sitting in front of what you're working on, I noticed the more I wear them about the more the magnification bothers me. I will say the magnification become more beneficial when I'm reading things for long hours on my phone (manga, textbooks, technical pdfs, etc.). I have noticed the ghosting when I've worn them outside (blah) but is much less noticeable when I'm sitting in front of a device. For reference my alternate glasses I bought were $20 from a "lens" website. They're clear, no magnification and 10,000,000 times easier to clean than these guys. If I had to give a reason why I don't wear these as often it's because they are so god awful to clean properly and I don't feel like paying for a proprietary lens cleaner for them to just be dirtied after a long session on my computer. It's smudgy frustrating mess even with clean specialized cleaning clothes. THANK GOODNESS! No ghosting with this frame. I previously had purchased the Gunnar Optiks Enigma computer glasses with liquet lenses - block blue light, anti-glare, minimize digital eye strain, Onyx (ENI-00109) , and there was ghosting all over the place. Made them unwearable after a time. Frames: Very light, enjoy that it doesn't sit too heavy on my face. -noticed the left lense creaks a bit, like it's not seated in the frame correctly. Right side is fine though (might do a re-buy and return) Sit farther away from my face (wooo 1000x less cleaning needed). Really love the design choice with these, they look great! Lenses: Liquet continue to be perfect for my lighting conditions (computer work in a fairly dark environment with dual monitor set-up), while utilizing mostly dark themed apps. NO GHOSTING (for me) -If you are struggling with ghosting in a different product (see above), give these guys a shot. They really got the job done and unfortunately with Liquet it seems to be tied directly to where you are looking through the lenses. -There is no official product information out on Liquet and ghosting (and I'm not sure they want this publicized as an issue), which for the customer means trial and error with different frames. -I did notice my reviews on the main gunnar optiks website were purged, since I last looked, that discussed liquet ghosting with the enigma.

Great blue light glasses. I have these to use for gaming and also the comparable version 1.0 readers for when I have long reading sessions. They are both great glasses, I have a big head and can wear them for hours. I've bought cheap blue light glasses before, but you can really feel the difference in build quality when you have them side by side.

I work with PC and play a lot of video games, so that's about 10 - 14 hours per day in front of a monitor (plus TV and mobile) almost every day. After a long day, my eyes gets tired and sometimes I had to stop. Let me be clear, I have perfect vision but I know this rhythm is going to hurt my health sooner or later. I bought the Riot Onyx model which comes with 35% blue filter and I've been using it for 3 weeks, and I'm very satisfied! Pros: - My eyes are not tired any more, at all. - Colours looks great! Only way to tell that yellow tint is by looking something white and even then, you may not notice. Cons: - Lens gets dirty very often just by using it (I'm obsessed with clean lens btw) but wash it with soap and water and its like new! - I had a light headache the first 3-4 days, but after it was gone after that.

I’m a little disappointed in my glasses this time, I ordered new and received a pair that have prints on the lens and a scuff in the bottom corner of the lens.

So well made. Much higher quality material used to make the frame. These are my favorite glasses.

I spent a lot of time in front of a computer, and I was having severe headaches. They got so bad I wasn’t even able to sleep. Went in for x-rays thinking the worst, but the results were negative. I told my doctor I was going to try the blue light blocking glasses. She told me it couldn’t hurt, but he studies she’d seen were inconclusive. A friend had warned me not to get the cheapest ones I could find. These particular glasses are not cheap by comparison, but they work! I bought the mellow tinted gamers glasses. I’m not a gamer, but for whatever reason they have prevented me from getting headaches. I know for a fact they’re working because on the day I forgot to bring them to work I went home with a headache.

Gunnars are a well known company for producing quality products. However you can definitely find cheaper. It is like buying a ferrari vs a honda.

It’s a good product overall, but the lower part of the frame is quite thick, which ends up obstructing the field of view. It works fine for me when gaming on a larger screen, but if you’re planning to use it with smaller displays like an iPad or a smartphone, the frame might get in the way. I’m giving it 4 stars — partly because I should’ve gone for a thinner frame myself, but also because the manufacturer should’ve taken that into account during the design phase. They’re the experts, after all

Antes de comprarlos vi algunos comentarios que mencionaban que eran propensos a romperse, sin embargo en su momento pensé que no los cuidaron bien, error. En definitiva el armazón viene de mala calidad, puedo decirles que los cuide como a la niña de mis ojos y aun así se rompieron de una patita a los pocos meses. No los recomiendo por esa razón. Las dos estrellas son porque a pesar de todo el lente si es muy bueno y si te protege contra la luz azul.

Ma anche per chi usa il cellulare spesso in casa, si vede con un alone giallo ma non da nessun fastidio! Mi ha evitato i mal di testa dopo ore davanti lo schermo
