I don't understand the wiring diagram provided in the manual.** A: Your best choice is the speed control from Iliving that matches the fan. Attach the power cord to the fan. Plug the fan into the controller, plug the controller into a wall socket. Set the remote control to desired temp/humidity. The controller ramps the speed up and down as set point is approached. Works great in my 11x34 foot attic. **Q: Can the thermostat be mounted on the louver/exhaust side? I want to move heated air from garage woodstove into my greenhouse.** A: Should be fine. The thermostat plugs into an outlet and the fan plugs into the thermostat. So you may need to run the electrical cord through the wall separating the garage and greenhouse. **Q: in which direction is the air flow** A: From inside air pass through those shatters to outside. **Q: How long is the power cord?** A: The power cord is 6 ft long. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente *by on Reviewed in Mexico 27 March 2026* Excelente compra definitivamente volveria a comprar , pues cumple con su función esta ya es mi tercera compra ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Powerful Exhaust Fan That Moves a Lot of Air *by on Reviewed in the United States 4 July 2026* I installed this exhaust fan to improve ventilation, and it has worked very well. It moves a lot of air and does a great job removing heat, humidity, and stale air from the space. The shutters open and close smoothly when the fan turns on and off.The fan feels well-built, and once installed, it has operated reliably. It has made a noticeable difference in keeping the area cooler and better ventilated. One helpful tip is to seal around the fan with exterior-grade caulk or weatherproof foam after installation. This helps prevent air leaks, keeps insects out, and gives the installation a cleaner finished look. The only minor downside is that it’s not completely silent. You can definitely hear it running, but that’s expected for a fan moving this much air.Overall, it’s a powerful, dependable exhaust fan that performs exactly as advertised. I’d recommend it to anyone needing better ventilation for a garage, workshop, greenhouse, or shed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Très bon article *by on Reviewed in Canada 9 September 2026* Vraiment un bon article ça fait longtemps que j’ai ce ventilateur dans ma serre et fonctionne parfaitement ## Frequently Bought Together - iLIVING 12" Wall Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan, Automatic Shutter, with Thermostat and Variable Speed controller, 0.6A, 960 CFM, 1400 SQF Coverage Area Silver (ILG8SF12V-ST) - iPower 12-Inch Square Aluminum Automatic Gravity Shutter Louver Vent, Silver - iLiving 10" Wall Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan, Automatic Shutter, with Thermostat and Variable Speed controller, 65W, 820 CFM, 1200 SQF Coverage Area Silver (ILG8SF10V-ST) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/658856659-iliving-12-shutter-exhaust-fan-with-thermospeed-tm-controller-65w](https://www.desertcart.be/products/658856659-iliving-12-shutter-exhaust-fan-with-thermospeed-tm-controller-65w) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
