Can be used for a multitude of filter media, such as phosphate remover, cheato, activated carbon and as a fluidised sand or any lighter medias. Not to be used with heavier media's such as bio pellets. The np200 reactor is designed to cater for these. If used with cheato, removal of the sponges maybe be prefered. The cheato can also be tied to the media trays, to keep it in place. If the reactor is to be used as an algae reactor... with cheato, removal of the sponges maybe be prefered.
