Retrospective Coaching Cards

Great inspiration for our retrospectives that had become a little stale over time. Recommended.

These are great. I like to mix things up in a retrospective - to get new angles and insights and to keep momentum. The cards format and the insightful questions on them help achieve just that.

Some of the cards are ridiculous. There is one card prompting a SCRUM master to act as an animal which is rather bizarre.

I've used these cards in a number of retrospectives and found them great way of changing the way people think within these sessions. If you find yourself repeating the same exercises or struggling to gain new insights these cards are a great addition to your toolkit.

Any any self aware team or scrum master will tell you, keeping your retrospectives fresh so they continue to dig in to the issues and promote strengths can be challenging. While you're planning your next retrospective, pick a couple of cards at random and see where they take your imagination.

Buy these, you won't regret it. Whilst you are planning your next retro, shuffle the deck and read a couple of cards and think about what you might do differently. The team and your customers can only benefit.

As someone who loves help people think for themselves, by asking questions rather than giving answers, I love these cards. They're applicable to any role and process and I'm sure I'll find myself reaching for them when I'm looking for inspiration.

I'm a big fan of Retrospectives and have run 100s for teams around the UK. Now that I have these I will definitely be incorporating some of these into my next one! I imagine these will be helpful to ScrumMasters who are short on time and looking for inspiration before a retrospective!
