A must-read for the serious George Michael fan!
This was a very well written book about George Michael! I would read until I got to the next chapter (so I remembered where I left off). There was one error I noticed when it said 1994 instead of 1984, but I was able to overlook that.

Great read in three parts
Great read in three parts: GKP (up to age 18 years), At the Top of a Dream and You have Been Loved.Smith uses George's actual words (I have heard them on YouTube) interspersed throughout so the only missing aspect is that amazing and wonderful voice.Special feature titled: Life and Times starting on 25 June 1963 following important dates in his life and including the special notation for March 2017 when the coroner confirmed that he died of natural causes. It is a welcome addition to my necessarily limited collection of GM books.Of least interest to me were the 10 pages starting on page 307 called "George's Stars", written by M. Moore and dated September 2017.

Great author, great book about a great artist
I did my research before purchasing this book. The best reviews and a well sought after biographer. The book was shipped quickly, was a great price and in A+ condition.

I usually really enjoy Sean's bios because they're quite indepth
Very much a cut and paste bio of George Michael material already readily available. If you're a fan of George Michael's then there's nothing new here. I usually really enjoy Sean's bios because they're quite indepth, but I felt this one I had already been aware of all the material--to the point it felt like it was cut and pasted. A newer fan who hadn't followed George's career at all would probably enjoy it.

A good read
If you’ve read all the main articles and listened to/watched all the key broadcasts relating to George’s life and career there is probably not much in this book that you won’t already know. That said, it is well constructed overall (apart from the unnecessary inclusion of George’s zodiac star sign section at the end - unless you’re in to that kind of thing!) and I still really enjoyed it and read it over two days. I think those that really connected with George as an artist and feel that his music is part of the soundtrack of their lives, will enjoy it too.

Very well written biography
Absolutely loved this book. So well written. Not a massive fan but I love biographies. I could not out this down and I understand a lot more now about a very complex man. Highly recommend this book, even if you are not a Wham fan.

Lovely Book
This book was in very good condition, the print was good and clear and the contents very interesting. A tragic end to a wonderful singer and musician, his talent was amazing, it made me listen to his music again with the knowledge that George was playing all the backing music as well as writing most of the songs. A book I will keep even when my sight fails completely. Thank You.
