Acer XR 37.5in Widescreen 21:9 5ms 75hz IPS (Renewed)

***Note: I haven't had this monitor a month yet.I was a little worried picking up a refurbished monitor, but I am extremely pleased with what I received. The monitor, obviously, did not come in the original box, and when I opened it, the styrofoam was damaged. That was not a good sign, in my books, but everything was wrapped up and wrapped in plastic.I unboxed everything and hooked it up to my computer, then powered it on. Only my second monitor came up. Shoot!! I unplugged the monitor from the video card and checked the cable, then plugged it in, and the monitor came up. YIPEE!! probably just a bad connection. Checking out the monitor begins.The monitor is HUGE!!! I changed the background to a solid light blue, and started looking for dead pixels. Super happy to say, not a single dead pixel. Next up was to start opening up photographs that I've taken and seeing how the photo editor and pictures appear. Very clear picture, and the details in the photos really come out. On the larger monitor, I'm able to see even more detail than on the smaller without having to scroll around the picture zoomed in. That is nice.Now for gaming test.Did I mention the monitor is HUGE?!?! Loaded up Doom Eternal. Wow!!! Just.....Wow!! The picture is amazing and with the larger screen and larger settings, I'm actually seeing more of the field of battle than before. Great graphics and no flashing/delay/ghosting that I can see. Very impressed. Next I loaded up a low graphic intense game, Civ VI. Game play is amazing as well. Again, with the larger monitor, I can actually see more of the world as I play. I love it.Overall, this is an amazing monitor and I am supper happy I bought it.Only one con so far. I leave my system up all the time, and power off the monitors when I'm not using the system. When I power on this monitor, it disconnects from the computer and reconnects. This all takes place before the monitor comes online so it doesn't affect anything, but I can hear the "device disconnection" sound every time I hit the power button to turn the monitor back on. Again, not a big issue as it comes up every time so far.

This monitor is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! First I should say that I'm a graphic designer, photographer and videographer, so I need quality and color precision. When I first opened it up and plopped it on my desk I was like wow....then I turned it on as Google maps was on the screen and it took my breath away!!! The resolution is a perfect sweet spot, text is crisp and you can't see dots at 1.5 ft away. Color is very accurate, not over saturated. I shoudl specify that this version is the HDR version, but when enabling the HDR the text looks like crap, so leave that option off. I could go back to a regular sized monitor after using this. The ultra-wide curve is just amazing. My most favorite electronic purchase in the past 5 years.*****UPDATE*******It's now January 2020 and this thing is STILL the best monitor out there. I just bought another one for my son and he uses it for gaming. He had a 34" 144hz LG gaming monitor, but liked how much bigger mine was with much better color. Mine is still going strong as well.

After a week of use, the joy-tracking control settings of the monitor broke. Plus periodically pops up in the lower right corner information about the mode, brightness and connected input. Enrages.I connected the monitor to MAC PRO. The video card is Radeon RX 580 8192 MB. Black thin font in the browser CHROME casts blue. I am unhappy with the monitor, perhaps due to the fact that it is refurbished.The complete set of the monitor was not complete. In the box there was only a power cable and a monitor !!!!Because I live in Russia, unfortunately, I do not have the opportunity to return it :-(

I'm still in awe of how great it looks. G-Sync works great, USB-C charges my phone fast and also works great with my Macbook, the colors and brightness on this thing are unreal. Doesn't feel refurbished, feels brand new. I came from a 27" Acer Predator with 144hz g-sync and this refurb surpasses it in nearly every way except for the refresh rate. 75hz is still noticeably better than 60. I haven't noticed any issues

The packaging that the monitor shipped in is the only thing I would think needs some work, however it is a recertified monitor so I get that the packaging isnt going to be all pretty.Monitor came with zero flaws, zero dead pixels.Great buy.

This is my second time buying this renewed Acer monitor. I used it for my work and I'm very satisfied with the quality so far. No problems in display. When I think about upgrading my own monitor, I decide to buy the same one. Haven't tested this monitor on games, I guess the response will be good. This curved large monitor is ideal for my work, improves my working efficiency a lot!

I like the monitor a lot, it has a great look and feel. I would love it but the description said all necessary accessories included but they do not deem the usb-c display cable (which is the only native connection on my machine) or the odd bracket that is needed to mount this to an arm necessary.

Excellent monitor for a great price. Love the ips+75hz+size. Highly recommend if you can get it for a discount.
