There aren't many options for a 36.5" double barrel breakdown shotgun like my Stoeger Coach gun. When broken down each section is only 20" long and most bags short enough to fit without extra space are made of thin material and poor quality. The Bagmaster Takedown Case has the right amount of length to hold both 20" sections of the double barrel gun with a little extra room in the length. It even fit well with masterlock trigger lock installed AND the Allen Company Buttstock Shotgun Shell Holder installed while fulled loaded with buckshot!Since the barrel section and action piece are so wide on a dbl barrel, they consume more length in the flexing of the bag to accommodate the pieces width, especially with trigger lock. I would estimate the bag would only comfortably hold two pieces of a side by side double barrel that was 38" long overall max, 40" overall max for single barrel.The outside materials are heavy duty and padding inside is dense. All parts are stitched TIGHT and pushing the shotgun halfs into the padded sleeves is akin to a tight "womb". The components do not move in the sleeves and my two 20" parts fit far deep enough to not take a chance of touching at the tops of the sleeves.There are two barrel sleeves on one side and one sleeve for the action.The description fails to inform the purchaser of the angled shoulder strap on the back. It was a really welcome find, but it should be noted that the angle only allows for placement over your right shoulder. The strap is not very long; I'm 200 lbs. and I can barely get it over my head and arm to wear on my back (not very comfortable). I would assume you should only shoulder the bag with the strap, not wear it over your head. If you dont want to use the shoulder strap it pulls tight to the back when all the slack is removed.The small accessory compartment is larger than you think and a solid 2" deep. it holds a lot of stuff. I could fit 2 flat boxes of 10 count buck and 6 boxes 5 count slugs with enough room left in the top corner for some spare chokes. All this fit with THE GUN INSERTED AND ZIPPED UP with the trigger lock and buttstock shell holder!This is the best case of its type available... PERIOD.

Best coach gun case I have been able to find at a resonable price

This is a well made bag with durable appearing materials. There is a small storage pouch on the front and a diagonal shoulder strap across the back. Padding looks good, and size dimensions seem accurate.I bought the bag for a smaller breakdown rifle, and will return the bag only because it is a bit larger for the intended gun.The supplier also gets 5 stars.

This is a great little case! Bought the 25” for my BROWNING SA22 takedown rifle and it fits perfect! Two small pouch’s fit barrel in 1 and stock in other! Haven’t figured out what to do with all the extra space but you can’t go wrong buying this case!

I keep my Browning SA22 takedown in this case. Fits well, nicely padded and the zip up pocket is handy for a small cleaning kit or extra cartridges. And made here in the good ol US
