My most unlucky purchase of headphones
I obviously liked that the headphones came in various colors you could choose from. So I went with the Green ones, and the fact that they were braided. They don't tangle as much because of that, but my headphones that I had gotten on February 7th eventually led to me noticing the braided material started to rip an opening on February 24th. The amount of white cord exposed would only continue further, & eventually, I'd start to lose sound in the left ear piece. So now, only my right ear piece plays music no matter what apps are played (YouTube, Listen On Repeat, etc.). It's been like that for months now.I primarily used this product just when I'd ready up to play music while doing dishes at my job. Unfortunately, I only got about fifteen sessions of good quality music before I could notice the quality & how much my body would have to be still just to allow music playing in both ear pieces. Again, these headphones have been my most unluckiest purchase in a long time. I've just been dealing with these until I find a new pair or just invest in wireless earbuds instead.

My new favorite earphones
I've only had these a few days, but I'm loving them so far.I was looking for an earbud that fit as far inside my ear as possible, for sleep purposes (ahem: noise isolation, and relaxing music). Of course, by reducing the size of the bud (driver), you are susceptible to cutting down on the sound and bass you get, but so far these Tweedz have produced more than satisfactory sound while not causing pressure when I roll over or sleep on my side. Integral to their satisfactory performance in this role is the braided (and tangle-resistant) cable. The only modification I will probably make is a bit of Sugru on the right cord or strain relief, so I can tell right from left in subdued light at bedtime. The tiny little R and L embossed in white on the strain relief is not sufficient for me.I use the largest of the three earbuds, and they are just snug enough for sleep without causing pressure or problems. They probably wouldn't provide enough sound isolation for mowing the lawn or other noisier activity, but they are fine for sleepThese are my new favorite earphones.

Not exactly cat-proof, but everything else is well.
Hi.In terms of sound quality, the earbuds are pretty good and live up to my standards. Subtle sounds and bass I could barely hear on my old earbuds ($10-$20 Sony, JVC, Skullcandy) were more noticeable in these Tweedz. I don't know what the typical "$35" earbuds sound like, so I can't make that comparison.I ordered the earbuds because my cat had destroyed a few of my earbuds as well as a pair of headphones in the past year. I noticed that the braided material of my phone charger has worked to deter my cat from biting my charger. Since the earbuds were also made with a similar material, I thought the earbuds would be perfect. However, my cat was still able to bite through the cords and render them useless, as shown in my photo. For this reason, I subtracted a star since the Tweedz blog post did, in a sense, initially advertise the earbuds as cat-proof. But it was still my fault for leaving the earbuds lying on my desk for my cat to eat. So although other commenters have had better experiences with the earbuds and their pets, if you intend to buy these earbuds for the purpose of it being animal-proof, be aware that it may not perform that task entirely, and still use caution around your pets.Despite this, I emailed the Tweedz team afterwards and asked for the possibility of a replacement. They responded promptly and said yes. I mailed in the destroyed pair and received a new set. In addition, they also updated their blog post on having animal-proof earbuds to reflect my experience. So I was pretty happy that the Tweedz team took the initiative to satisfy a customer and rectify/clarify a point. Shout outs to them!Overall, I give 4 stars for the product since the earbuds are able to perform its primary function as a listening device quite well. And if I could, I would give 5 stars to the company for awesome customer service.

Nifty ear buds.
These ear buds are great. They sound great. I am not an audiophile. The big complaint I read was that sound from the cable rubbing on things can be transmitted into the ear buds. I haven't noticed that. I had to fly across the country and used these for that. The engine noise and people were all but blocked out. They fit my ears and can be worn for hours at a time.*update*2-18-16I lost my original pair and ended up buying a second. The are my favorite headphones to use. I did end up breaking them. They were twisted around enough from going in and out of my pocket that the right side bud stopped working. Eventually I will be buying another pair. They are decent enough to take the risk. My original review of 4 stars is going to become 3 stars until I get a new pair.

Don’t waste your money!
Completely broken after the first use. My daughter managed to hold the ear bud together for one day since it was the only pair she had, but it just fell apart. The dollar earbuds are better quality!
