I ordered two of these. One was in operating order . The second one was in shambles. The fan was loose inside the housing. It appeared that during assembly, no one had screwed it to the interior base. I had to return it and have not heard back from Amazon if they will. replace it or if I must personally go on line, again , and re order it.

Although useful for short time the rural dry environment quickly rendered the paper useless and both items seized to work in less than a month.

Doesn’t cool at all! Waste of y’all 30$ wish I could get my money back!

It is extremely flimsy. The fan rubs up against the filter sometimes. There is very little cooling effect because the filter is extremely meager. Plus you have to go thru a process every few hours to keep it filled. You are much better off paying the extra $10 for the popular white cube competitor. Those put out much cooler air and to fill you just open a hatch. Here you have to hit two latches, take the top completely off, set it aside, lift the entire water tank out of the unit, flip it over and unscrew the cap to fill it, then take the filter out and soak it in water, then try to put everything back together and hope the filter doesn't end up banging into the fan again. All this while being mindful that everything is so flimsy you could break something at any point. And you are supposed to do all of this every few hours. Just awful.

Doesn't really works, contributes to the humidity. Disappointed.
