Two-Way Splitter and Two Bowl Attachment --- for New! Pet Feedster PF-10 Plus CAT - Automated Pet Feeder for Cats (Feeder NOT Included - Feeder Sold Separately!)

I bought the PetFeedster because it had the option to drop less food up to 8 times a day. I have one of those cats thats eats fast and throws up so bought this in an effort to feed him less food multiple times a day. For the first 2 weeks it worked great. Then I noticed pieces of plastic in their food. The flex feeder, which is the agitator that controls the food drop, had broke into multiple pieces. It took over a month and multiple emails to get a replacement. I have tried all 3 settings for the flex feeder but it jams often and the food gets stuck in the tube assembly. For $200+ I expected a lot more from this feeder and much better customer service than I received to solve the issue. I would think twice before purchasing this.

Amazing customer service! Jacob was extremely helpful when my large dog chewed the splitter I purchased for my new cat feeder. I contacted Precision 3D Prints asking to buy an additional splitter and Jacob sent me a replacement splitter AND a thicker one for free! The new splitter is working great and the cats and dog are all doing well. Thanks so much! I will always recommend this company for their quality of product and excellent customer service. I am including a picture of our three critters with the new splitters.

There are 2 glaring problems with this product. The first is that the fitment of the spout to the feedmaster is poor. Often food gets stuck where the two meet and will jam up in the spout. Second the only way to remove the bowls to clean them is by removing the spout. The original feedmaster spout/bowl did not have either of these problems.Sure the product fixes one problem, but it creates two more. Hopefully they reengineer it to fix these issues.

We love our auto feeder, and this two way splitter is a life saver. We have one fat and greedy kitty who will eat ALL the food if given the chance, which means our other cat won’t eat. This helps with that problem since they each have their own bowls (though we still have to monitor them).I do have one important suggestion, though, that would make this a 5 star product: the original adapter that comes with the pet feedster has a plastic lip covering half of the adapter mouth (see photo). This two way splitter does not, so our curious kitty can stick his paw right up into the machine and knock down loose kibble. Because of this, he’s actually put pressure on the adapter and one side of it has ripped the screws out and stripped the machine. This is most frustrating to me because this was a very expensive investment!

UPDATE:I removed the two shallow stainless steel bowls I had installed in the splitter's bowls (to facilitate cleaning) and the splitter worked flawlessly.Nonetheless, I wish it were possible to remove the included bowls for cleaning without having to unscrew the splitter. It is most inconvenient and unfortunate. Hence my change from 1 to only 3 stars.--------------I loved my Pet Feedster when it served one cat. Very Disappointed in the splitter, which I hoped to use for my now two cats. The small sized kibble jams up in the splitter preventing it from flowing freely into the bowls. Returning item.

This add-on product for the Pet Feedster works really well. My shy kitty at least gets a bite at the apple instead of the dominant cat taking all the kibble. It doesn't split the food exactly in half, but it is super close. I think this is a solid 10!

I was thrilled to find this product unfortunately the food kept getting stuck inside with half the portion. Emailed the seller, no response.

Perfect! I used to have 2 cheap feeders, but when one broke, I decided to finally get a quality feeder, but the price of a quality one times 2 was a bit daunting. This splitter attachment is exactly what I needed: I was able to get just one Pet Feedster to feed both cats at the same time. Everything fits the Pet Feedster perfectly - the bowls attach even more securely than the stock bowl. The stock dispensing nozzle has a kibble theft guard, but because this splitter is longer, that is not necessary. However, it's not VERY long. My cats used to have food possession issues and could not eat close together without fighting - if this is the case with your cats, then one feeder with a splitter may not be right for you.
