ALEX Toys Yummy Tin Tea Set

This is a really cute set, and I love that it's made of tin (non-breakable and not a piece of plastic junk.) However, it is on a very small scale. I ordered for my grandchildren (ages 4-5) who love to pretend. They like it, but I was disappointed that it was kind of "dinky". I didn't measure it before they took it home, but it's on a scale that is more suited to larger dolls (American Girl sized) rather than children.

My daughter told me she was looking for a tea set for her 4 year old, and I found these on Amazon. Saw the great reviews, and ordered it. It was under their tree on Christmas morning, and Kate loved it, and continues to love it. I also ordered one of the books about tea parties, and my daughter liked it almost as much as my granddaughter! Anyway, these reminded me of the ones that were around when I was a kid, and they at least seem like something well made because they aren't plastic. Whoever heard of a plastic tea kettle? (that didn't melt) When My wife, my 27 year old daughter and my granddaughter all think something I did was great, I'm happy to say that this is a great buy and a great product.

We bought this tea set for my two-year-old to replace a china set she received and had already broken pieces to. The set is great & the durability is a big plus for us. My only complaint is that the teapot lid isn't attached to the teapot. It's the only small piece in the set, and I know it will be the first one lost. It would be nice if it were hinged and attached. Overall, a good set for kids.

So glad I got this for my daughter, it's very cute and despite the many and more expensive presents she got for Christmas this has been her most played with so far. The colours and design are very sweet. It would be handy if it came in a carry case to keep all the pieces together but still love it as is and would recommend it as a perfect gift for a little girl 2-5 years! :)

The product claims to be made from tin. Tin does not rust. Within a few weeks, this started to rust. Around the edges, on the bottom, along the cups' rims. My 3-year-old daughter is crazy about it. She uses it all day. I admit that I have probably left water in it overnight a few times. When it first started, I tried putting clear nail polish on it. That peeled off/wore off. Started rusting again. I have tried and tried. Now it's so rusted that I don't want her using it at all.False advertising. Made in China. Junk.

Got this for Christmas for my daughter she LOVED it and we did too. You can actually USE these which was great. We had the best tea party!!! The only problem was after about 5 uses the little lid on the kettle broke. There is a metal ball on the top and that snapped off. I contacted the company 5 times and left 5 messages. Never heard back from them once. Very upset and disappointed in their customer service, or lack there of.Again understand this is a kids product that can be used.

My daughter wanted a tea set out of the blue. Her old plastic Disney set got caught in a flood in our basement and I didn't want to try to clean it so I tossed it away. She hasn't mentioned the tea set in a few years and all of a sudden she's all about tea with the stuffed animals. She picked it out and even though it's a bit small for a girl her age (she's 9) she still loves it. I like that it's durable and the pattern is very cute.

Its so cute, my daghter loved it!! Is realy small, the tea pot is small like the palm of a hand, so the tea cup is sooo tiny, and the tin, is a bit soft, im afraid it will bend over! I dont know if in time it will get rust, but lets whait!! And the colors are so lovely!! I didnt put whater on it or anithing because i dont like the mess, so i dont know about the other coments peopple made that leaks! But to me is really nice!!
