Most important thing: the app is excellent and there are no security issues with it. Upgraded from an Osmo 3 (which I still use in addition). This is amazing, it's nice and light, battery lasts a good 3 hours, easy to use and has built-in storage in case you get caught with a full SD card. The image quality and sound quality are excellent. It's very quick to set up and you can start it recording instantly. It has many different modes including slow motion and time lapse. There is also a horizon balance mode which is really good. Seems sturdy and the magnetic plus physical clip is strong. Never overheats, never crashed, never corrupted. Has actually been flawless.

The build quality, picture and screen are superior. Charges up fast and the battery lasts a long time. Easy to navigate through the touch screen menus. The picture stabilisation feature works well. Night time imaging is clear. I purchased this because I already had a DJI Mini 4K drone and was very happy with the picture and video quality. I plan to use this camera in sea water and up mountains over the next couple of months. The accessories are also spot on and have a solid quality feel about them. The telescopic handle (included in the bundle) is especially well made, and according to the DJI label on it, can also be used underwater (but rinsed with freshwater afterwards). DJI appear to be leading ahead in the action camera department along with their drone business.

Image quality is excellent. Used mainly on the helmet for POV shots in all kinds of weather and it has never let me down. the battery life is very good would highly recommend.

I was really excited to order this camera as after doing my research I felt like this will be a great way to record some of my adventures in the mountains. The delivery was prompt as usual however upon trying to do the settings I realised that the back screen on the left and right side towards the corners was unresponsive when I touch it which reduces the functionality. I tryed factory reset couple of times as suggested on internet and updated the camera as well through the app which made the right side functional in a way but not the left. I contacted DJI through their chat support on the app and after explaining the issue and sending a video was advised to ship the camera to them. I emphasized that I purchased the device because of an upcoming trip and I needed it back within a week to which the response was that the whole process once received takes up to 48h so I have a chance if I am quick. I sent the camera on the same day (Saturday) back to them. Of course it was delayed on the way up but they did process the replacement very fast so the new replacement camera was shipped within few hours (Wednesday) and of course delayed again but arrived in Aberdeen on Friday morning which I thought was great as if not on the same day (Friday) DPD delivers on Saturday as well so I had the chance to receive it before I leave on Sunday morning for my holidays. Yes, but no, as DJI has chosen a weekday delivery only and the courier company DPD told me they can not update me to a next day delivery as not allowed by the sender otherwise they would have done it for free. I was not allowed to have it delivered to a neighbour/collection point, nor could I collect myself from Aberdeen. I spent few hours chatting with both DJI and DPD (as they were telling me to contact the other) and even though everyone was seemingly trying to help me in theory at the end I was not given a working solution and ended up leaving for my trip without a camera. The only options DJI was able to offer were delivery on a different date (as DPD was giving me latest option as delivery on the 6th and my travel plans were to travel back on this day so it would have been probably late afternoon or evening and it didn't work for me as they would have deliver earlier) or as a second option refund (since I was frustrated and mentioned it) - however only after they receive the camera back and inspect it for human errors ?! .. like for real .. inspect what.. a new replacement camera that they have shipped to me and that I have never received and touched ?!). I appreciate that it's probably a standard sample letter but it did upset me at the time. After I calmed down a bit we agreed with one of their customer care team representatives that I want the camera to be delivered on the 7th of July (which is tomorrow) however as I didn't get any notification I had to chase them again last week to check if anything was shipped to me to which email I was told today that they "have already notified our colleagues to ship the goods. Please pay attention to the relevant logistics notification information", notifications that I never received hence was contacting them in the first place. Not impressed with the fact that I after receiving a faulty device on Friday the 19th it still doesn't look promising that I'll have a camera that I can use this week. Disappointing experience so far though I still believe the camera itself will be worth it, ... Once received Updated: I have changed the rating up to 4 stars as I did finally received the new camera on the 9th of July (Thursday) and i must say I really like the new experience - the screen is responsive and easy to work with, changing the settings of the camera took only few minutes and the quality of the video looks very good as well - I am looking forward to properly test it tomorrow in the mountains;)

While on an absolute affordability level, it could be worth considering the Action 4 over this, as in many cases it will produce almost identically excellent video, using the same sensor and having much of the same capability, the Action 5 Pro offers some new features and extended abilities, for not a lot more cost and the extra batteries and charging case alone make this kit worth considering. The battery life is the best in any action cam out there and the it's waterproof to a greater depth than the Action 4, with much better screens. The SuperNight mode is much better in low light, but it really only works in fairly static shots, as the EIS struggles. Subject tracking is an exclusive feature for those wanting to vlog solo, while making their clips more dynamic and voice commands also help when making content on your own. Sound is excellent out of the camera, but you can of course pair in with DJI's mic2, or mini mics (up to 2 can be connected). Still photo quality is very good, even in low light. There are so many features packed into this camera and it's small, sturdy and easy to use.

would recommend this to friends looking for a small action camera. We have used it in several extreme environments already and are impressed (hot desert, cold arctic, humid rainforest). Zoom on the camera is not great, but this can be achieved when editing as the quality of the recordings is high enough to zoom in. I recommend watching a few YouTube videos on how to set it up for your requirements which takes a bit of time and learning, but once setup the way you like it, you can just use presets to access exactly what you want. Quick and easy to turn on / off. Love the 3 batteries that come with this kit. Excellent stick that extends too. I bought additional SD cards and keep them in the battery holder / charger. Works really well.
