Review: Hurricane force - Wow, these fans move some air, even on the lowest setting, they create a cooling breeze. This might be too much for folks who just want a little airflow. But when it's 110+ degrees outside and you're AC is working to keep inside below 85, these fans make it all more bearable. Having these has made the summer here in central CA much more bearable. I have one set up at my cycle-trainer to keep me cool during workouts but also to mimic riding in the wind :) These run very quietly, the remote is functional not fancy. Great product, great value.

So simple to put together. The fan is the quietest I have ever heard from a fan. Of course you're going to hear noise, but that's because the fan is working! I can easily sleep with this. The remote control I was able to use from over 15 feet away. The remote requires AAA batteries not included. The fan knob is a reverse thread. Turn clockwise to loosen and counterclockwise to tighten.
