Can't beat the sound quality!
I am digging these earbuds. I took a minute to get used to the fit, but that has now passed! The sound is stellar, they're comfortable and the price ($149 for me) is on point. I also tried the Ultra Open Earbuds but I wasn't a fan of the sound at all. User preference! I have wired in Bose over ear headphones that I've been rocking for almost 10 years. Bose delivers again!

Outstanding product
These are awesome! The connectivity was so easy, the comfort is really nice. The volume control is good, noise cancellation is outstanding. I would highly recommend this product. I got it last year during Black Friday or Cyber Monday. The price was outstanding. Couldn't have asked for better. And when I got my new phone it paired up immediately. And the people who used to complain about my sound quality of my phone are now very happy.

Great sound, with several glaring issues - BOSE please do better!
I've been a Bose fan for many years, which is why the areas of failure on these (and all QuietComfort buds after the first generation) are so frustrating. I really expect better from Bose and pray they deliver the next generation more thoughtfully. But...First off the GOOD parts:1) Sound quality (when connection is solid) is great. These have a really full sound with healthy bass.2) Battery life is a noticeable improvement over other generations.3) Touch controls and customizability. You can do a lot just with touch on the flat side surface.4) Wireless charging of the case. This should be table-stakes at this point and it's wild that other gens didn't have it.5) Noise isolation on microphone. These are miles ahead of other buds in terms of excluding background noise.6) Noise cancelling in general is good, although I don't feel that it's better than the Gen1's - could be because the ear fit is much worse than the 1st gen.7) Ability to switch devices and be connected to multiple devices is very helpful.8) Auto-shut-off after a certain amount of time is great for battery saving and the fact that you can turn them on with touch is also awesome. That part is a great upgrade. Now the BAD:1) The fit of these is so annoying and uncomfortable. I haven't found an generation has fit as well as the Gen1's with the expanded fit kits. These loosen from the ear canal constantly and can literally pop out if you're chewing or making those high exertion faces at the gym. And they don't offer any expanded fit kits for the silicone ear tips.2) Speaking of the ear tips - the little bands that surround the ear bud are terrible. They shift out of place every single time I use the buds. You have to rotate them around like you're trying to open a safe lock just to get them in the right spot. They often come off IN my ear when I remove the beds from my ear canal. They also just fall off the bud if they're in your pocket, making it so easy to lose them. If they're out of place when you try to put them in the case to charge, they won't fit.3) Connectivity issues. Half the time I remove them from the case, only one of them turns on/connects via bluetooth, and I literally have to put on earbud back in the case and then back in my ear to get it working. Also, I can have my phone in my pocket and the connection starts to break up.4) The initial connection on setup took me like 7 tries. How has Bose allowed such a terrible set up experience??5) The case is fairly crappy and feels cheap. If you drop it, everything is exploding everywhere. It's small enough (though very round vs. flat) and it's lightweight, but could be better. Those are the big ones. And hey, at the end of the day, I still own two sets of these and use them religiously. But please Bose, take the feedback and do better next time!!!

In love with these headphones!
use my Bose Bluetooth headphones every single day—and especially at night to listen to something as I fall asleep without disturbing my partner. They’re super comfortable, which is a big deal for me since other Bluetooth headphones have always hurt my ears. Not these! The touch features are awesome—I love being able to tap to skip songs, pause when I need to chat with someone, and then just tap again to pick up right where I left off.The only small downside I’ve noticed is that, unlike my AirPods, these don’t read out text messages when I’m using them with my iPhone. But honestly, that’s such a small thing compared to how great these have been overall.I’ve had them for almost 6 months, and they’re still going strong—no issues, and I haven’t exactly babied them. Definitely a win in my book!

Block out the world
I’m highly sensitive to noise. I think the term for it now is misophonia. Though I have a sound machine to mask noise in every room, there are some sounds that you just can’t cover up, like the landscapers in summer, who seem to be here every other day mowing, blowing, or chewing up trees. I think that’s why I like the peace of winter.A few years ago, I found the Sony wh-1000xm series over-ear headphones, and I told my husband I needed them for medical reasons (to keep my sanity) to justify the high price at the time. They have been great in blocking noise, albeit a bit bulky. No way could I sleep in them though. Believe me, I tried. Since then, I’d been searching for an affordable earbud that could come close to the noise canceling of the Sonys and have a longer battery life than 6 hours.I was amazed to find an unbeatable Black Friday deal on these Bose earbuds and decided to try them since I couldn’t justify the high cost of the Ultra model. After returning a few other earbud models that were dismal in performance, I honestly didn’t have high hopes. But when I tried these, I was blown away by how well they canceled noise! I really couldn’t hear the mowers. I usually play white noise through them, which helps mask noise even better.I’m really pleased I found them and plan to travel with these instead of the Sonys on my next trip. Unfortunately, they aren't comfortable enough to sleep in, at least not with a normal pillow—they hurt my ears—but I bought an ear pillow with a hole in it that could work in an emergency when noise hinders my rest. Overall, I’m very happy with my new earbuds. I heard Bose was the leader in noise canceling, and that is the truth! I give them credit for making affordable earbuds with similar quality to their high end models.
