man 2 Pieces Stainless Steel 6'' Cast Strap Hinge for Boat Marine

I had a specific need for these and I couldn't find out the answer in advance, so I took a risk. They worked out. The quality is nice. You need #12 flat head screws, preferably stainless steel to match.; no screws are included.Here are the details on the opening range: I needed them to fit an exact right angle when in the closed position, and wrap around 270° when open. Imagine the top lid of a rectangular box which has to wrap around to vertical (down) when open.In the closed position, these hinges can be at any angle > about 85° (I needed 90°). At the opposite extreme, they don't get quite open to to 360° (~285° relative to open) because the hinges themselves are somewhat thick, but that was good enough for me. For what it's worth, the angle between the two halves shown in the first and last pictures is roughly 75° (for most hinges, the equivalent angle seems to be about 105°, which would not have worked for me).

These hinges appear very well made. My only issue with them is lateral sloppiness that seems a bit excessive to me. Overall, though, a good value.

These are very sturdy hinges. Very good quality.

Great boat hinges

Our Newport 33' sailboat had stainless steel hinges set into spaces made specifically for them in the deck for the opening of the engine hatch. Despite trying several regular stainless steel hinges, the holes did not line up properly. The reviews said these should fit and sure enough they did. Given that the holes were pre-drilled into the deck, we didn't want to take just any hinge and have to drill new holes. These lined up nicely. We are very happy thank you.

The engine box hinges of my Correct Craft failed. I'm sure these new hinges will outperform those from the OEM. See the photo for a comparison of new (on left) with original (on left).

Seems like good quality although the holes did not line up with my existing hinge that I was replacing. It did give the specs on the holes I just didn’t measure it. They are much cheaper in price than the OEM ones so I will just drill it to fit and use washers under the fiberglass.

Very sturdy, exceeded my expectations. Used for high school marching band props
