UPDATE 01/01/2023: Four years after purchase, the bonded leather has started to deteriorate. Small flecks of material stick to clothing and fall off on the flooring all over the house. The chair is still functional, but what a mess it makes!The chair arrived on time, but the box was badly damaged. The box was smashed, ripped and open. The chair casters were loose in the box and the other parts were loosely packed. While there was no visible damage to the item, I contacted the seller immediately and included photos of the box. I have not yet received a reply.The screws, washers and allen wrenches were nicely packed and included an extra of each screw. However. the assembly instructions were a simple set of small, barely legible pictures and were difficult to follow.After assembling the chair, all mechanical parts appear to be in working order.The chair is as described, but CAUTION: you must sit all the way back in it. If you sit forward in the chair, it has a tendency to slide out from under you and fall forward.Deployment of the leg rest is cumbersome! You must reach down between your legs, pull it out with both hands and flip it over. None of that is mentioned in the description or in the chair instructions.

I bought this as a gift for my husband’s (6’/175lbs) home office. He loves it. It’s very comfortable, moves and reclines easily, and was easy to assemble. He frequently takes catnaps in it and the reclining position! It looks nice too-more like an executive office chair then a gaming chair. While he is of average build, it seems pretty sturdy and I think could hold someone larger.

TL;DR This chair is nice to look at, and will get the job done as a office chair, but at this price you should seriously consider something else.This chair is nice looking, and decently comfortable for short periods, but overall I am not very impressed with it. Out of the box it was a real hassle to put together. I live alone, but there were many times I really could of used another pair of hands, especially with the mechanisms for adjusting the recline. Speaking of the recline, it has never worked properly, and I am certain I put it together correctly. It reclines no problem, but if you put any amount of pressure on the front edge of the seat, or the arm rests (like when getting out of the chair) it forces the back all the way forward. So I will be sitting at my computer watching a movie, and if I lean forward the back comes forward with me. It is so bad to the point that if I don't want it forcing me to slightly lean forward, I have to recline it back to approximately 45 degree angle, and be very careful not to apply to much pressure to the arm rests or the seat itself. Also, the 2nd day I had it one of the caster wheels shattered into pieces. I am a large man, pushing 300 lbs., but the chair was brand new. This could have just been one faulty wheel, because I replaced it with a wheel from an older chair that I was going to throw out, and everything has been fine since. The leg rest is a nice idea, as well, but I would not bother unless you are a very short, petite person, because it only rests the top part of my calves, and feels like it want to snap in to. Anyhow, that is my opinion of the chair. I don't typically write reviews, but I felt I should for this one, to maybe save someone the troubles I have had.

Way nicer than I thought it was going to be, even for the price. Arrived on time and was packaged in such a way to protect all the parts well, they even included some gloves to protect my hands while assembling it. Assembly was easy but I did get confused at one point and contacted the seller - they replied to me within an hour on a weekday night and resolved my issue. The chair itself is so solid and the recline function is great - you can pull a lever just a little bit to adjust the back angle and then let go for it to lock there so you can make it any angle you want. If you want it to move freely, you just pull the same lever all the way. Footrest is nice too. I thought that it was going to unfold in conjunction with the back reclining, but you actually manually pop it out and it moves back and forth depending on where you want it. Definitely recommended.

As other have said, the box that the chair was delivered in was ready banged up. When my chair was delivered, the wheels were missing. The box was not taped up the best; hence, the wheels slipped out. The chair appears to come from China. To get the chair, it took a week. Then I had to wait another week to get the replacement wheels. The rep that I worked with was a little slow to offer me a discount for my trouble. Assembling the seat portion and back of the chair is a little tricky. Everything else assembled fine. Lastly, the chair is a little firm. I am getting used to it. I just consider it an OK purchase.

Well made and a really nice looking chair. Easily put together but it did take the two us. Was purchased for my husbands office. As handsome as the chair was, it was very uncomfortable. Very little padding so it was like sitting on an unpadded wooden kitchen chair. There was no way it would be possible to sit in that chair all day every day. We gave it to the kid across the street who was thrilled to have a fancy chair but he also added pillows to try and make it comfortable.

Bought this chair because I work long hours and sometimes just want to nap for a bit at the office. Was pleasantly surprised at that fact that this chair lays back flat and easily locks in place. It was very easy to put together and only took about 15 minutes after getting all the pieces out of the box. Instructions could be better but they make it simple enough that they are almost not needed. Also, it is surprisingly comfortable even though it looks like it might not be.Would definitely recommend this chair to anyone that wants one that reclines.

This is not a very comfortable chair. It reclines, which is kind of nice, but doesn’t have an option to tilt the seat back, so you feel like you’re about to slide off. The seat cushion is hard. And the leg rest doesn’t extend long enough to be of any use to someone over 6’2”. That being said, it does feel solid and like it will hold up for a few years.
