ProtoArc XK04 Foldable Compact Keyboard for Phone and Tablet, Black

A great product that exceeded my expectations & what was promoted on Amazon. Quick set-up, pairing with no issues, charged under 35 minute to full charge. Very reasonable price for what the keyboard can do. It is very lightweight & folds up to a small manageable keyboard. Will around the house from the patios & will definitely take on vacation. It is well built.

As someone who is always working on the go, finding a keyboard that is truly compact, easy to pack, and comfortable to type on felt impossible—until I found this. It folds up incredibly small to fit in my bag, connects instantly to my devices, and the keys feel snappy and satisfying.What really blew me away, though, was ProtoArc’s customer service. I had a quick question about my device, and their support team responded almost immediately, resolving my inquiry with absolute kindness and efficiency. I bought this to pair with my recent purchase of a Lenovo Legion Tab 3 Android Tablet.I liked the idea of this version over the full size XK01, since this is a small tablet. Bluetooth pairing was fast and painless. I haven't tested the 5 month battery life claim yet, but so far, no problems.The really good things:~ Key travel is great despite being so thin.~ The fold is super smooth, never gets stuck.~ It does fit in my pocket, but I am neither skinny nor are my pants.~ Solid build quality.The bad (well not bad so as challenging):~ The placement of the space bar...I get it, though, it has to fold in the middle so the space is slightly offset. I thought this would throw off my writing, and it did for about a day. However, I quickly developed the muscle memory and now I have no missed clicks. Pretty easy to get used to.Would I like keys that are like 10% larger, YES! I really don't travel with this in my pocket, so a slightly larger size would not matter to me.I am super impressed with this product and it is my first Protoarc product. I was doubtful about their PC mice and trackballs, but based on this I would be willing to try one of their mice.

I felt this keyboard met all my expectations. Compact, efficient, and long lasting battery. It provides a mini mouse pad even, when you fold it up. Sometimes you only need a keyboard for starting up, and launching programs, especially when you're getting ready for a gaming session. This was ideal for my latest work trip, and complimented my handheld PC nicely. Highly recommend this one! Easy to set up, and change the macro for F keys and media control. I didn't even notice any noise coming from the keys. It's compatible with windows, but that's all I tried it with. I used the Bluetooth feature. Great keyboard!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this. There's so much...stuff...on Amazon and I expected this to be decent at best. Once I got it open it was easy to connect and the keys felt satisfyingly clicky for such a small and purpose built design. I occasionally have to slow down to adjust to the shifted layout, but that will get better with time. I am very impressed with what I got for the price I paid and would recommend it to anyone who needs something small and portable that still offers an enjoyable typing experience.

This keyboard genuinely surprised me. I picked it up to pair with my Galaxy Z Fold 7 and it has completely changed how I use that phone. Propped up in flex mode with the XK04 in front of it, the whole setup feels like a proper micro workstation rather than a phone trick.The fold mechanism is solid with no wobble or flex when typing, and the key travel is better than I expected from something this compact. Bluetooth pairing was instant and has stayed stable across sessions. The PU leather cover doubles as a stand and keeps everything protected in a bag without adding bulk.Typing speed comes up quickly. There is a short adjustment period to the layout, but within a day or two muscle memory adapts. Build quality feels durable and the whole package is impressively light given how sturdy it feels.If you have a foldable phone or tablet and you want to actually get work done on the go, this is the keyboard to grab. It earns every star.

In terms of its use, amazing, really great. Honestly exceeded my expectations. However! I purchased it in May, it is now July, and the device's battery no longer functions nor can you have it plugged in to operate it. The battery life is perfectly fine, but the battery itself seems underwhelming. Great responsiveness, low amount of typing noise, physically the keyboard is durable, indicator lights are bright, and it allows me to 10 finger type despite its size. Just wish the battery situation in terms of its working at all was better!

This thing works great! Mine came with a pretty good charge and synced with my tablet really quick. The keys feel good and there is no delay time with the screen. Great quality and feels good and sturdy too. Even had a little card from the "designer". This thing came with a better charging cable than my Anker power banks come with.

Really nice piece of gadget that fits in my small folio bag and is an excellent travel companion.

this is a terrific keyboard! Worked immediately. great size & light. Having the phone holder is big bonus for me. Practically means I rearely use my laptop or PC. Keyboard is EASY to use

I bought this folding keyboard mainly for its compact and lightweight format (I use it with iPad). It fits easily in a bag, unfolds within seconds, and provides a typing surface that feels very close to my 12” MacBook (2016) or the Magic Keyboard for iPad. The keys are comfortable and pleasant to use.Once unfolded, it feels like a full-size keyboard, so I don’t get the sense of being cramped. Even the slightly off-center space bar doesn’t bother me at all. The hinge falls under the right thumb, but that’s not an issue for me since I know what I bought and I accept the small compromises that come with a folding design. The build is entirely plastic, so of course it doesn’t have the premium aluminum finish Apple would offer, yet for the price I am genuinely impressed by the engineering behind it.Battery life has been perfectly fine so far. I sometimes type with the keyboard on my lap, for example on a plane, and while it can feel a bit less stable, it remains functional. The trick I found to prevent it from bending in the middle while typing is simply to support it with my thumbs underneath. It’s easy enough to do and doesn’t affect usability.I also customized it to fit my needs: I use a Canadian French layout, so I added stickers for certain keys, and I covered the brand name printed across the space bar since I didn’t like it showing. These small adjustments make the keyboard feel more personal.Overall, this is an excellent compromise between portability, comfort, and price. I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and practicality. It’s not as solid as an Apple keyboard, but for what it is, it works very well and I can carry it anywhere without hassle. With the added reassurance of a two-year warranty, I feel confident in my purchase. For now, I am very satisfied, and it’s proving to be a great little tool.

It’s a good option. The folded form is genuinely portable, they keys feel good and the smaller size is workable, although I do typo more, which seems like a fair trade off since I don’t use it constantly to get familiar.Easily swaps between my iPads and Vision Pro, have only charged once since I got it a few weeks ago. Feels pretty solid so far. I’ve already had a college buy one having tried it.Have one thing in mind, the unlocked position is not locked, if it is not on a solid surface you will have it foot a bit as you type. But there is nothing claiming otherwise, in fairness.
