No more wobbly knee on Seattleโs hills
Man, working from home in Seattle means sitting like a pretzel all day, and my knee started giving out every time I went up a hill. This brace fixed that. Comfort is solid โ breathable enough to wear under jeans during Zoom calls, and the silicone strips keep it from sliding down. Value for money is excellent; I looked at $250 braces but this one has the same adjustable stops and aluminum hinges for way less. Functionality is smooth โ the hinge bends naturally, and the six straps let me dial the fit from thigh to calf. Support is outstanding; no more feeling like my kneeโs gonna buckle on wet pavement. Durability seems great after a couple months of daily wear. Totally worth it for anyone with loose ligaments.

Light but well made. Medium good fit for me with not much muscle mass.
73 and bone on bone . Use all the time and have for years. By far the best I have used.

Keeps my knees happy during pickup ball in Venice.
I play pickup basketball in Venice and my knees have been screaming after every jump shot. I grabbed this brace for protection, and honestly Iโm impressed. Comfort is key โ lightweight enough that I forget Iโm wearing it after a few minutes, and the velcro doesnโt snag on my shorts. Value for money is insane; I was looking at โproโ braces that cost as much as new sneakers, but this one gives the same lateral support for half the price. Functionality is awesome โ the polycentric hinge follows my natural motion, and I can swap the angle stops in seconds. Effectiveness is clear โ way less swelling after runs, and my knee doesnโt click like it used to. Support is solid for cuts and jumps. If youโre active and trying to keep your knees happy in SoCal, this is the move.

Close but not quite
I had to send this back, but I felt that it was nicely made and had many adjustments. I should have ordered the next size up as I was right on the edge, so it ended up being tight in the thigh.

Measure at thickest part of thigh
Love it just use with a sleeve and remember to measure at the thickest part of thigh not Thier suggested 6" the thigh band didn't budge so if your thick or muscular go bigger

Finally back on the trails after my ACL surgery
Last winter, my anterior cruciate ligament tore. I thought I would never be able to hike in the Rocky Mountains again. But this protective gear allowed me to walk easily on flat ground and even on light trails within a few weeks. The comfort was excellent - the silicone pads did not embed into my skin, not even after using them for several hours. Value for money is unreal compared to the $300 brace my doctor wanted me to buy. Functionality is exactly what I needed โ I can adjust the hinge stops to limit how far my knee bends or straightens. The support was excellent; my knees were finally able to remain stable on uneven soil. If you just had a anterior cruciate ligament surgery and love outdoor activities, you must try this.

enabled my 19-year-old son to snowboard on a pre-planned skiing vacation
My 19-year-old son has only had this for a month, but we bought it because he really wanted to be able to snow-board on a pre-planned skiing vacation, and he's been having problems with a strained knee. He was able to snowboard for 2 days without further hurting his knee, so we were really happy that the brace worked so well for him.

Helped me a lot after injury
This saved me after a knee injury. You definitely don't want to use it on bare skin though, so buy a sleeve. The grips really irritate your skin after wearing it all day. Would have also liked better instructions on adjustments as there was a learning curve for sure. All in all I would 100% recommend this for the price and quality. I've used the overpriced doctors office version after ACL surgeries and this works just as good.

A Very Good Knee Brace when Properly Fitted
I have had a weak right knee since a childhood injury to the joint. I experience discomfort and weakness in the right knee on occasion and have been using various types of knee supports over the years since the injury occurred. I have never used this type of knee brace before and wanted to give it a try. The knee brace appears to be well made. The brace is mostly aluminum with a hinged knee joint. There are silicone inserts which run along the inside of the brace. The inserts rest against the skin and provide comfortable cushioning of the brace against the thigh and calf. There are six straps which wrap around the brace and are secured with Velcro. The straps allow the brace to be tightened around the thigh and calf. As I have a more slender thigh and calf than the girth of the brace can accommodate, I had to use the additional silicone pads to provide increased girth between the tightened straps and the thigh and calf. Without inserting the additional silicone pads, the brace would have been too loose and slide down my leg while walking. I am fortunate that I do not have any issues with bending the knee joint. I did not need to use any of the extension or flexion stops which were included with this brace. In use, the knee brace is comfortable to wear when it is properly fitted. I feel that walking with the brace on helps to reduce the discomfort I feel sometimes due to the old injury. The hinged knee joint flexes very easily and the entire brace is light in weight even with the six additional silicone pads attached. As I become used to the fit and feel while wearing this brace over time, I may try wearing it on my left knee. My left knee was also injured at the same time as was my right knee and it actually suffered more damage at the time than did the right knee. However, I experience discomfort now more often in the right knee than in the left one. The knee brace is a welcome additional to my collection of various knee supports purchased over time since the injury and it will be my first choice to wear whenever the need arises.

Improvement over my other one. Not an eye sore.
Protective and stabilizing without being overly restrictive. Decent padding, and quality seems reasonable. I can't really chime in from a medical perspective as I am certainly not qualified in any capacity to speak to how effective it is or isn't from a strictly medical stand point. I have only used one other brace years ago, and it was awful in comparison to this. Far more restrictive, and honestly caused me to get jammed up in ways that ended up being painful or even dangerous. This feels both more stabilizing and less limiting. Overall an improvement in my case. But that is strictly based on previous experience from what I've used thus far. I wouldn't say it's perfectly comfortable. A bit of discomfort at times, when moving in specific ways but not sure if that's just me, or a break-in period or adjustment phase? Or if that's going to become a more pronounced bother. Will have to give it more time. But for now, I'd say, it is a step up from what I have used. Offers benefit. Just hoping to work out the comfort for long term tolerance. I don't require use of this regularly though, so for short use cases, it's a bit less problematic. For what it's worth, I don't think it's an eye sore either. Likes: - Decent padding. - Feels reasonably well made. - Big improvement from what I've used int he past. - Seems stabilizing but not overly limiting. Dislikes: - Not finding it always the most comfortable.

My mother-in-law says it helps her arthritis
I got this for my mother-in-law and she says that this works great but it sticks out a lot more than what she is used to She has trouble trying to hide it under clothes and make it look inconspicuous. If that is something that is not important to you, than this is probably a great device. Using 4 straps, it holds on well to your leg and she says it is quite comfortable. Nothing digs into your leg or leaves any marks or chaffing. It is very adjustable, allowing to put as much or as little pressure as you need on your knee. It has many adaptive pieces for this, for different types/stages of healing, so you might want some medical, professional advice about these things if you haven't already. All in all, it is a really well constructed knee brace. The stitching and materials made to craft it look and feel to be very high grade in my opinion. It should last for a long time. It is definitely beneficial for arthritic knees. I do recommend.

Well made and comprehensive brace with adjustable flexion and extension stops.
This is a well made and very complete knee brace system. Full set of flexion and extension stops, additional pads, spare strap loops and small spares. It has a good user guide and they have contact information for assistance. This is moderately complex first time to get it comfortably fitted and in place. If you need to limit extension or flexion range of motion it may take some adjustment and fitting to get it right. Itโs worth it. It is more complex and involved to fit it right, but it offers superior support, and for me, where I have to limit flexion motion, well worth the time invested. When you get it adjusted, in place and settled, it offers excellent support, and is not uncomfortable- if it is, you need to make more adjustments. Check the sizing carefully before ordering, as there is a range for which each size is suitable, and some adjustments that can help tailor it to your unique body, but you want to start with the right base size for your legs. For me, once adjusted itโs been particularly effective when doing yard or home tasks when I often will bend my knee inadvertently past where it needs to be limited and re-aggravate the joint. This allows me to do the things I want in the yard or house without over-doing it. Much more capable and effective than a flexible or soft elastic wrap. Once you get used to it, motion is natural and comfortable, but first few times you wear it, take it easy on your goals. If set with flexion or extension limiting, or even without it can take a bit to get your natural rhythm back and not feel a little off balance. With the range of motion limited with a stops, you want to become accustomed to it before climbing a ladder or setting out on a trek. It is nice quality and has a wide array of adjustments for your particular situation. But it takes some patience to get the most out of it in support, comfort and impact by fitting it properly. Plan for a dedicated storage area, like a drawer or similar to keep the small stops, spare parts, straps and pads- along with the information and instructions together in one organized place.

Sizing seems to be a bit of an issue
This seems to be a very well-made knee brace with lots of adjustment and comfort padding to go around. The straps are comfortable the foam pads provide good contact with the limb, except for at the top where I had an issue with the metal portion of the brace being too tight. I tried bending open the top so that it would fit my thigh, but I found it still to be quite tight and not connected to the upper thigh portion of the leg. The knee joint is well supported with the double hinge pivot point on the brace so when bending the knee there was no sliding of the brace up or down. Everything seemed to stay in place. This was also managed by having silicone designs printed on the inside of the pads to add extra grip. All of the pads and straps are removable for washing and provide fairly good clamping tension around the leg. There was a comprehensive amount of replacement replacement parts and adjustment pieces for a more custom fit. I am a bit disappointed that I canโt get this around my upper thigh being I am only 5โ9โ 160 pounds. That said a medium is too small for me and would likely need a large. Again, this is quite adjustable, but I could not get it to fit properly to my leg. You might have better luck with yours.
