Good solid machine for the price.
The laptop has now arrived and is working well. My first job was to download and install the various updates to windows and then my own programs that I needed. This has taken some time but now all is well and even connected to my printer-not easy due to having to find the correct driver. The Toughbook is much heavier than I imagined. Not a problem as such it just surprised me when I first picked it up. The keyboard is very nice, solid and comfortable keystrokes. The screen is clear with good colours. It’s been ages since I used Windows 7 but I’m getting used to it againA small amount of damage to the rear port door means the quick acces door doesn’t work and the port itself doesn’t open easily. Hence 4 Stars. I was aware however that the machine may have some damage before I bought it. It is minor and I can live with it or probably repair it in due course.I am very happy with this machine for the price. I doubt that I’ll damage this one.I do hope the machine carriers on in the same fashion. Time will tell.
