The blanket was listed as being 48"x72" so I measured a blanket I currently have to see if that size would work for me and found that it would, but barely, and ordered it. Happy to finally get a weighted blanket at a price I can afford.. When I received it, it seemed short, so I measured it and it was 47"x68". One inch too short in the width, no problem, I can deal with that, and can consider it a small flaw that happens and isn't a big deal. But 68" instead of 72" is just not acceptable. Will it cover all of me, well, yes, but not comfortably and not with enough left over for the weighted blanket to work properly. Amazon's customer service when contacted went above and beyond, but the company actually selling the blanket needs to be honest about what they are selling.Update: I was contacted by the seller. I appreciate them wanting me to be a satisfied customer and I was happy to receive a replacement blanket. Unfortunately, it was still only 68 inches long. However, the company did make a good impression in wanting to make things right. The blanket itself is super soft and comfortable. I'm happy it has finally been cool enough to use it in my house. It is so cozy and I am sleeping better! I would just caution anyone ordering to order larger than you actually need since they seem to run small.

This blanket is the perfect size for one person. The glass beads are tiny and well spread throughout. They don’t make noise and they don’t bunch up. The blanket is super soft. I am THRILLED with this purchase. I was nervous that it would be of lesser quality because of the price, but it is excellent quality. I weigh 155 pounds and the 17 pound blanket was perfect for me. I highly recommend for anyone who wants a good quality weighted blanket without the crazy price tag.

Like everyone else... My purchase was much much smaller than ordered. I have no OTHER regrets about this purchase except that I waited so long! But then again, the prices of weighted blankets have gone down considerably in the past few months. I love this blanket! I recommend going by the charts online to see what weight they recommend for your body weight when deciding what weight to buy. I think they go by valid research. I ignored it and bought a 17lb blanket and it may about 3 lb too heavy for me. You are supposed to do 10% of body weight. The thing is, that from a therapist's perspective, you don't want to wake up feeling trapped. When you're in that place between wake and sleep, it can be just a bit too much weight on your arms and shoulders to have to lift and move to adjust positions. Someone with past trauma of being held down or trapped might have a problem with this. As for me, I'm not in that category, and of course that can be remedied by just not pulling it up over your arms and shoulders. I've used it for two nights and on the second night, I just wrapped in it from my torso down and slept better than having it over my shoulders. I found that what they say about it feeling like being wrapped in a hug is true.I think it probably releases oxytocin too. It's just very comforting and...with lack of a better way to describe it, when I lay down in bed at night, tired, and with the chronic pain, it strangely seems to quiet/soothe the pain. I won't redundantly go on about all the mental health benefits of weighted blankets, you can find those online, but I will say that I will be recommending them to many clients. ...One last thing, keep in mind that it's really not something that would replace your regular bedspread. View it as more of something to have in the bed with you, not something that will be draped over the top. In fact, you may find that a throw-blanket size is plenty if it's only you using it. With the heaviness, it doesn't drape like a comforter or bedspread, you'll see what I mean when it arrives. Happy deep sleeping!

I bought this one because the fleece cover looked so much more cozy than the other weighted blankets, and the real thing did not disappoint. Also seems to be a reasonable price compared to the competition. I wouldn't exactly call it "cool" though. It can get quite warm underneath (although I do tend to sleep hot).

It's super cozy! I honestly can not believe what a difference this blanket made in my sleep - falling asleep and staying asleep. When I cover up, I immediately feel a sense of calm. The one I purchased is a little heavy for me, but I'm keeping it. However, it is warm - in both good and bad ways. It's too hot for summer, but -- winter is coming!

I purchased two as a gift for my brother and my mom that had ansiety and can’t sleep well. They are sleeping all night and the calme effect is very obvious since using it.

This blanket is everything it says it is and more. It's warm and heavy. Only wish it was wider a bit. Great price you won't find better I searched. Awesome quality!
